Early #WWE2K24 gameplay has arrived! Big thanks to 2K UK and WWE 2K for flying me out to Florida to capture the gameplay from this earlier build of WWE 2K24.

I'm more curious if the Royal Rumble and the ramp view works in classic arenas as well or just specific ones. 🤔 I would love to use current WWE wrestlers by using old attitude era Royal Rumble sets. Like 1998 or 2001. Or vice versa.

Love how the tron is playing instead of just the theme music
It would have been nice if 2K had added special entrances during the Royal Rumble for that ramp camera view, but considering this isn't the main camera view that probably would have taken a lot of extra time to add to the game.

I wish they should’ve kept Takers old 2k entrance where the lighting hit and we walked slow to the ring.

they should have the heavyweights like Undertaker do the slow walk to the ring like the used to in old games

Whoever designed Rick Rude and the ultimate warrior this year did a fantastic job, both of them look exactly like they did in real life at that time.
Legends are finally looking right each year because pre 2K22 they looked awful. Curious as to how Dusty Rhodes is gonna look cause he looked awful in 2K19.

Now they need to give Warrior his actual correct Gorilla Press Slam that they removed for no reason in place of something he doesn’t even do and he’s all set.
I really hope some wrestlers have a special entrance before they enter like it was in the old games

Everyone is just running when entering the ring. They should have superstars specific rumble ramp run animations.
Example: HHH waits at the ramp drinks water from bottle, throws it away and then runs. Kane gets a pyro and then walks slowly

They could add that next year. I’m just glad we have this angle. we have no clue of how easy or hard it is to develop a game so we can’t be too critical
I know I’m asking for too much now but I kinda wish we had them do their proper entrance when coming into the rumble like undertaker walking not running or Seth celebrating with the crowd singing his song but it’s nice to have the view back

Hopefully in 2K25 they have them do their stage entrance animation before running to the ring, that was always one of the coolest parts of the old games

Awesome! I'm a move junkie, so I'm studying the hell outta their movesets, and making changes wherever I see fit in my Universe Mode... However, there are now 4 Signatures?!? I see Reigns rightfully has both Superman Punches as Signatures, which is good, AND he has his Drive-By Dropkick AND Guillotine Choke as his Signatures, too?!? That's awesome, because I've always thought only 2 Signatures and 2 Finishers isn't enough, while Day of Reckoning had 8 situational Finishers, allowing for really the same Finisher to be performed in multiple situations! Man, WWE 2K24 is making all the right moves; it's not 8 situations, but allowing for 4 Signatures and 4 (Super) Finishers will definitely increase the chaos throughout matches! 😁👍
I remember in SvR 2011 RR match they used to have weight class type entrances and signature entrances like real life RR match entrance where they do their moves for few seconds then snap back to gradually increasing their speed of running towards the ring. This will create some hype during the game with the crowd cheering and booing.

I don't know how they never thought of it, I been saying the series needed this update for years. Randy has RKO, Punt Kick and Avalanche RKO but only two can be assigned. Undertaker had Hell's Gate, Tombstone and Last Ride. Last Ride as a signature was always strange to me. And several other wrestlers had more than two finishers or variants of their finisher.

Some are talking about having special entrances. Bro, in MOST rumbles they just run down. Or they would have to make the in ring action stop temporarily which would be unnatural
I miss when there were fireworks during victory celebrations, they haven't been in games for 7 years now
I was hesitant on the ramp camera angle but now watching just a few minutes of this video I think I really like it for this match type especially

It would've been nicer if you could choose when to enter the ring too, like if you wanna just wait a little bit after making your way down to the ring before you join the action (like you sometimes see on tv) but it still looks really good this year

My expectation for this year‘s game was to just improve on last year‘s game with everything working properly this time and minimal issues so everything else including this makes it even better. I never have high expectations on a yearly release, especially on the same gen. All the new things I heard so far this early has been great so far and I’m keeping my expectations low. I feel sorry for the ones with their heart set on major changes and a brand new game. 👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥
Its going be same engine for least 3 yrs more I'm afraid they do new engine after 5 yrs they started this engine since 22 n build on it 23 n now 24 it makes 3 yrs now so least 2 more yrs after 24

Next year they need to up this a notch. Have each superstar have their stage entrance used and lighting. Then when on the ramp they can run down.

Look like the wrestlers appear outta nowhere, before they run to the ring. I kinda wish it was like Smackdown vs Raw 2010, where the wrestlers actually come out of the entrance.

they should switch to ramp cam during any entrances and leave it on the normal cam when nobody is entering
To me the camera is still just too far when there’s multiple people in a match. I wish we had the option to zoom in. It’s basically a sports game and any sports game has several cameras and the ability to zoom or lower the angle
I wish 2k24 had a setting where you could full screen the titration and still in the corner have the royal rumble match. And I also wish they would add a setting where you can control your entrance (grab weapons before you enter the ring, keep assaulting eliminated op, and so much more) and last I wish you could slip out of the ring without eliminating yourself. That‘ll be a lot of fun

Is it still like wwe 2k23 where factions will team up and not attack each other until the very end?
I remember many many years ago wrestlers would come out in their signature entrance walks/run animations which I always thought was not only a nice touch but a perfect touch for the rumble matches. Why remove that when it’s a great little feature? Who knows.
While rumble mode certainly looks more solid than the last time I played(which admittedly is a very long time ago), I feel like the gameplay aspect is close but still needs authenticity. I’m almost positive you used to be able to enter in with multiple finishers to do a Kane style chokeslam party, I’m sure they got rid of that too. I feel like some characters should have special rumble abilities and all should have a separate rumble rating under their overall rating with the other basic ratings like speed etc. Some harder to remove than others…
