Paradise Village in Malabon City Metro Manila Philippines is not normally what the average person would call paradise =). And I'm not sure how they came up with the name, but all I know is that many people call this place home, and it is their paradise. They bond, eat, shop, play, and everything that you can think of when it comes to your typical community. Call it a housing area, slum, squatter area whatever, but Paradise Village in Malabon City Philippines is everything that you can imagine about how nice the filipinos are. Full of smiles, always wanting to chat, and just ignoring the fact that they may not live in the best of places. These people would feed you even if they themselves did not have enough to eat. Now I can't speak for everyone who lives in this place, but it seemed to me that they are just plain happy people. The area could definitely use some cleaning up, and I hope that the Barangay officials do something about it, and/or just educate the people the importance of keeping up with a healthy and clean environment. This video was sponsored by my subscriber Carlos from the USA, thank you so much =).
Wlin USA, where I live, poor neighborhoods can be unfriendly and dangerous. Their attitudes are really astonishing. Dharavi, India seems much the same from what I can gleen.
This government in Philippines dont bothered to improve the livelihood of Filipinos too much corruption in this country, it's worse & horrible to live. I'm wondering those Filipinos just accepted this way of living.....😢😢😢😢😢
@@fernandopoblete9949I really shocked when I saw the video and heard the name of village - Paradise. I was born in a poor village of Việt Nam but it's not same it. We have fresh water , electric and quite large concrete roads that trucks or cars can drive... With all my love I wish the government of Philippines will help improving live hood of Philippines peoples
the philippines is an awesome place to live in the only drawback is poverty you can see how filipinos live despite their situation they can still smile and enjoy simple pleasures imagine how their life will be if they had a little more
I see they have cell phones nice clothes watches motorcycles bikes and to me it just looks like they like living like bums .You would think that as many people are walking the streets that some them would carry a bag and pick up trash but you can tell thats the way they like to live.
You're another one who is so naive. Filipinos enjoy being in front of the camera, thus the smiles. Most of these folks don't even know what they're missing, ignorant of how deprived they are and powerless to change their situation.
Hi, I am from Paradise, I've been watching your videos since last year thank you for making a video to our city and street and hope you had a great one.

This is the only way to solve poverty in the Philippines.. For the Philippines to grow a stable economy like Indonesia, it needs to distribute 100 square meters of housing and 1000 square meters of farmland equally to all Filipino households. In the late 1940s, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan also implemented this policy. This is how you can send your children to school. Half of Philippine students must take industrial education. If you don't have your own land and have no hope for the future, you don't send your children to school. And the Philippine government had nuclear power plants, a lot of water dams, We need to continue to build urban water and sewage, highways, and high-tech ports. Only by doing this will foreign capital companies invest in the Philippines. If the Philippine government leaves it like this, the same life will continue 100 years later.
Everyone does seem content if not happy, goes to show you human beings dont need alot of material things to be content with their lives, we make the best of our situations and what we have. Im sure with just a quick glimpse into this society's life we dont see all the negative side effects of poverty. Where theirs poverty there is sure to be all of those ugly things that come from that situation...showing these videos are great to see the human societal dynamic at work.
Judging a country based on a small location is just like saying that you wouldn't want to visit the USA because you saw a video on Skid Row in LA. Just like anywhere around the world, there are good and bad parts, it's your decision to visit where you would like, thanks for watching!
Is there any crimes there? Or people trying to steal? It seems so calm and honest ppl around. Also where do these woman have their babies? Where is the nearest hospital and how do they get there if its quite far away? Also how is it paid for? Just wish the people could be educated in keeping the rivers clean and less trash around, so sad, especially for the children.😢
My heart cries to see the misery that still reigns in your country. I am Italian. I know the Philippines very well. I'm married to a beautiful woman from LA UNION. And even though she is now 63 years old she is a flower. - And I lived in Pasig. M.M. - I wish your country can improve as soon as possible. I LOVE ALL Filipino people. May GOD be with you.
What was the like again kt would like to do something like this in caveat were the fire was like at the school were they are all taking shelter thank you brother be safe and God bless 😊
I'm originally from Tondo, I think the Philippine government should have never ever allowed squatters to establish their housing in the city a long time ago and sent them back to the provinces. If they only allowed well-off enough to buy property or rent stay in the city, Manila would not look like this.
una pregunta. porque la mayoria de los muchachos andan sin camisa? Why are most of the boys walking around the streets shirtless? Is this your culture and customs?
I can't understand why they don't clean up the rubbish. I know that they are living in poverty but they don't have to live in scwoller. They sit around and don't care? What no one there cares?

That is what happens when there are NO zoning laws in poor communities. People do whatever they want in their space. NO order. Imposing order might trigger tension among neighbors. So there are No rules and No order even in stressful, structurally unsafe living conditions like that.
