I really appreciate that these holiday foods were from different cultures! The Latkes looks amaaaazing. Also, Nick and Izzy are hilarious together lol.
12:18 Martine, you sound like me for EVERY holiday family dinner! Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, birthday dinners. In it for the long haul! Lol
The KFC chicken (or Jollibee in our case) is a traditional Christmas thing along with spaghetti for my husband’s Filipino family 😀 because they grew up poor so fast food and pasta were reserved for special occasions and holidays, specifically Christmas. It’s awesome and I love it 🥰 the chocolate orange is a tradition in my family in stockings
One of my favorite memories is getting a Terry’s chocolate orange in my stocking on Christmas morning; I remember my grandma telling me how our family tradition of getting an orange in our stocking started. My grandma said back in the Great Depression the only thing my great grandpa could get my grandma and her sisters was an orange in each of their stockings; it’s been a tradition in some shape or form ever since 😊🍊🎄☃️
Loving all the pairs = Nic + IZZY (new love team! oh yay!!!) Nic / BEn = always love their reactions and how they treat others :) Martine is always sunshine yellow - love ya
Great video and these were awesome reactors. This got my appetite rumbling for tomorrow! I like Sylvia and Corey. They're a lot of fun and should appear more. 4 of my favorites here tho! Of course any video that has Martine, Izzy, Benison and Nick, I'm all in.
its xmas eve and i just had a huge KFC meal with my family members! we were so stuffed after with the feast of coleslaw hot and crispy chicken, tenders, and mash potatoes. happy holidays React!
The proper way to get the cranberry sauce out out can is after you you open it from the bottom, you take a knife, go around the sides and it loosens it up to slide out with ease.
Before my husband and I knew we existed on this earth, he did service work in Honduras, and they served tamales on Christmas Eve. Still to this day, he has to have tamales on Christmas Eve and on the morning of Christmas Day. 🎄
Whoa! There buddy. That first dish is absolutely NOT NOT NOT candied yams. That is for certainly sweet potato casserole. Well one of the two main variations, anyway. Who is doing your food research on this channel.
Sanitary cranberry sauce in a can hack: remove the bottom of the can, cut the top and push the top of the can down through the can with the sauce. EASY. SANITARY.
Terry's chocolate oranges came out with a crunchy orange bits version, kind of like pop rocks, which is amazing. I've already bought two and my son asked for more today. He's an adult, and yes I'm getting more.
Honestly been watching all of the different channels you guys have and I wanna join this channel so much it’s to funny not wanna be doing all the things from a child again as an adult even more so with an awesome crew
14:1714:19 I have you both covered Corey and Martine. I make roasted garlic mashed potatoes with real butter! Margarine don't cut it and neither does olive oil.
@AyeltsGabo They were long and tube like! Sweet potatoes are in the morning glory family, while yams belong to the lily family. Yams aren't as sweet as sweet potatoes, and they are starchier and drier.
This was the best thing I've ever seen! It was just missing Sharon! 2:32 everyone with the Cranberry Sauce 🤣 6:46 "That's what we doing" to what Martine says 15:18 Martine, so close! 😂 15:50 starting with the whip sound, all the way to the end with the Latkas 🤣 18:48 Izzy's reaction to Egg Nog 21:00 Izzy's reaction to the Chocolate Orange and the sound effects 🤣
I've got something for you! The "day after" Thanksgiving, everything sandwich! Turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, green beans and (the only time I like it) jelly cranberry sauce with a touch of gravy, toasted. Food of the GODS!
I can eat pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie all year long! Now there's a debate for you! Which do you like better? Pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie? Personally, I like both for different reasons. Pumpkin pie if I want something sweeter and sweet potato pie if I want something a little more savory/sweet.
@@futuramabender2078 The way my family makes them, the pumpkin pie is a little sweeter and a little creamier smoother custard. And I can taste the difference between the pumpkin and sweet potato itsellf. The cinnamon and nutmeg spice do make it hard to tell the difference.
@futuramabender2078 Well, when we do homemade, I mean homemade! No cans. Roasted pumpkin takes on a little bit more of a burnt orange, brownish color so for our pies, the sweet potato pie is more orange. And like I said, sweet potato pie is a little more, I guess, grainier. Less smooth.

Candied yams are yams baked with brown sugar so that the sugar creates a sticky coating on the yams. That was sweet potato casserole.

Candied yams are sweet potatoes in sugar syrup and there are no marshmallows involved. The first dish is a sweet potato casserole.
Whoa! There buddy. That first dish is absolutely NOT NOT NOT candied yams. That is for certainly sweet potato casserole. Well one of the two main variations, anyway. Who is doing your food research on this channel.
I was looking for this comment cuz huh?! Lol that was definitely sweet potato casserole!
@@EB-kw4ndright, especially foods from the South or the Mid sections of the country.
If it was candied it would be sliced and baked in some sort of simple syrup❕❗
candied is with sum type of syrup and cinnamon and brown sugar
Actually most people or area's call it candied yams and the other ones call it sweet potato casserole, trust me I argued this fact
