I love this guy. I think that he spends his time working with our youth, giving them opportunities to excel is simply wonderful. That that he is doing this at age 79 is amazing.
Let's pause for a moment and just think that Jon Anderson is 77.5 years old and his voice is almost as good as it was in 1971 when "Heart of the Sunrise" closed out the prog rock masterpiece album, 'Fragile.' And let's also give credit to this ensemble of young musicians!! I have hope for future generations....
I have been listening to this man sing from the very 1st Yes album my big sister kept playing until I finally saw them in 1975….this is heartwarming seeing him playing with youthful energy all around him…this is Yes as long as he is breathing.
AWESOME!. In 2022, this incredible music lives on through the amazing talents of these young musicians. Love to Jon Anderson for doing this who, btw, is in fine voice!. What a guy. I wish the very best for these students, they're amazing. Really enjoyed this. Thankyou for the post!!!
A real rock star working with kids who weren't born in his century. It's not Yes, obviously. It's passing a torch. I don't know Jon Anderson, but the joy he expresses is real. I envy all of them.
YES: tomad nota: éste es el verdader líder. Como la avaricia rompe el saco, lanzáis un trabajo con otro individuo más que imita a Jon. Y ES QUE ES ÚNICO!!!!
@@PaulGreenRockAcademy I've been singing lead and harmonies since 1965 (in church), guitar since 1968, bass since 1976, numerous bands since high school in 1975, and Its been my DREAM SUPREME to jam with anyone from YES. My favorite band since Junior high in 1974. In one more week, I shall be 61!
@@Beamshipcaptain they really do get it. They have a lot of people telling them similar stories, but honestly they wouldn't make it if they didn't get it.
ok I get it. But these guys are in a hurry And rushing thru ... Like a jam Oh well at least Jon is up there and having fun. God bless YeS, and you and I .
Opps, some keyboard issues during this song. Not sure they got it fixed. They take turns, soldier thru, good job. Even Rick had to deal with similar glitches at a YES show in San Diego years ago.
wow those kids are so lucky, when I was a kid the musicians were too busy or high on coke to help or work with anyone else, hanging outside at criteria studios trying to get Robert stigwood or any of the artists there to listen to our songs was endless madness. the only musician that was cool even close to what jon is doing was al green, gave me a bunch of jewel toned platform shoes, but no music or songwriting lessons or tips, and ace music would put on drum workshops, then the guys there would tell us to go rob a few 7-11's so we could buy gear.
I do not think I would be alone if I said I like the energy and musicianship here more than a band touring called Yes. I am mindful I am just watching youtube posts. If there were any justice it is time for the name Yes to be returned to it's rightful owner. But alas....
Honestly didn't like it. Any musicians can play notes. Completely lost the true essence of the song. Just my opinion. I've played in bands all my life. Jon has the best voice ever. I hope some YES fans will understand what I'm saying. Respect to all musicians.🌹
The rockstar in the black leather pants is a better than average “player” however, he stepped all over the bass part at the start of the song with his power chord. Maybe one day he’ll learn how to be a musician and not a poser. What a totally self-absorbed it’s all about me schmuck.
Rubbish - time Howe saw sense and brought him back and dumped Davidson. Jon outshines anything the so-called "official Yes" does. Amazing what Jon has done here with these kids.

That Rickenbacker base cuts right through the mix Chris squire would be proud
Jon Anderson is one of the rare singers still hitting the notes.
Lovely to see someone of Jon Anderson's stature working with young people. And his voice is still amazing fifty years after this was first recorded

I was there. It was one of the best shows I have seen in years. The kids played their butts off!! Jon Anderson was epic as always.

It’s a long time since I’ve heard any Yes band be able to perform this classic at the pace these guys do! I take my hat off to you all! Incredible!
This song will endure and be rediscovered by generations for a very long time. Thanks for this...
I love this! Jon continuing to be a great mentor!
Love the youthful enthusiasm…. This gives Jon energy.
This CAN'T be easy to learn or play - this is just amazing. Even the few mistakes were quickly and professionally overcome. I am impressed!
Its actually not that hard to play on guitar and bass. Been playing it on guitar and bass since the early 1980s when I was in college.
That was a nice cover job and really nice Jon could join them. Hard to believe he is still belting it out.
9:19 I really smile in this moment haha :D...
It's Amazing to see youngs like me enjoying such great music...
Incredible job guys!!!
Such a great pleasure to see and hear this ! (and such a presence of the bass too Chris Squire, the great one)

Wow actually sounds Real real close to original recording I’m impressed
Great music still alive within these kids. Godsped!
Ya'all just made Chris proud.
Jon is amazing as always! he is Yes!
Magnificent!
Awesome!!!
Wonderful!
The currently touring version of YES doesn't do this well on this song. These are amazingly talented kids. A tip of my hat!
The currently touring version of YES isn't YES without Jon. Enough said.
@@joeganusi8522 And w/o Chris and Rick and Alan.
@@lightsone2 True, but they had a legit reason for leaving the band. :(

Amazing!
Fabulous!
They were great

Fragile and Close to the Edge are favourite albums by Yes
Just wow.

They really do! They are so grateful!!

This sounds more Yes than the actual band named Yes.
This one is still not working for me. Hoping you can re-upload if necessary. One of the great rock compositions of all time.
It’s never easy to cover a yes’s song. Every parts n all needed to be well rehearsed.

Where did he get these kids? Is this school of rock?

I hope Jon made some good coin for doing this.
He's a rock star. He doesn't need the money. It's because he's Jon Anderson.
Did they choreograph the hair flip at 1:52? Posers.

Jon forever...with this band...another one o simply with his guitar....the talent never ends
