I feel like for some styles the blue discoloration is kind of a vibe??? Like especially on the tiger graphic tees and hoodies! It gives it like an intentional patchy vibe, like when you bleach dye stuff! Maybe it's worse irl tho🤔
@@LaurDIY hunger games closing ceremony: pretty little Laurs are our canadits! Lauren: I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!!! Your so brave thank you so much!!! Ily
I feel like maybe the blue is either where the dye hit the clothes at the beginning before you started. Or where stains were you didn’t notice before. Because the bra seemed fine and it was new. Idk 🤷🏻♀️
@LaurDIY I think its bc you dampened the clothes first and when you noticed the color specks before you washed it its bc it was on wet clothes. Maybe try it with the clothes completely dry.
@@LaurDIY hi omg I love your and all of your videos but my favorite ones are where you do real girl talks where you talk about all the things people are scared to ask, I love them. I hope you have a great day and I love you 🖤

I used the dye before and it came out really well! I used the green dye, I just placed the entire pod in the washing machine on dry clothes. No patches
Omg! I just watched Sarah Betts’ video about dyeing her clothes brown and she spoke about you Lauren 😂 and I was wishhhhing that you’d do the same and you just did! Universe has a strange way of granting things
I’m no scientist but I feel like the reason it was blotchy is because you put the powder directly onto the clothes instead of putting in in the drum first? Cuz when it started turning purple before it started could be why that happened and since it was touching some clothes more than others that could be why. Idk but it’s really sad cuz they had so much potential 😪
You saying sketchy and being scared for your credit cards reminds me of those buying clothes off sketchy websites videos 😂 damn I need another part, I loved those videos 😂🤍
Omg I am so looking forward to seeing the new diy room!! Seeing all that decor in the background making me so excited! It’s going to be so freaking cute and ✨mature✨ a perfect room to go with our new, unfiltered queen
Maybe the blue spots happened because you dropped the dye powder on the pieces unevenly, I saw other videos where they just put the white pod in the washing machine and then take it out. idk, love your videos btwww
Ella Spate ya that’s what the comment said but she read the instructions and it said for that many pieces to dump the power out into the washing machine
I've worked with these kind of pods all my life, they are very normal where I live. As a tip: even though it says you can do that much clothing at once and just dump the powder out, do less at the same time, like maybe half and keep the dye in the bottles it came in. Your results will be better! (Maybe you could try do re-dye this with some darker brown tie-dye? To fix the blue spotting?

i used the same dye last week but put the whole pod in the washing machine instead of pouring the dye in and didn't get any weird color spots! highly recommend
I dyed my black jeans with the intense black, I put the actual thing with my jeans and it did amazing job! Highly recommend actually sticking to number suggested and actually put the whole thing in with the container/pod
This dye works best for when you have an item of clothing that has faded after you have washed it loads of times. So when you have a pair of black jeans that has faded a bit, you can use a Dylon pod and then you have a dark pair of jeans again! xx
i really like that you are replying to comment! it makes us feel so connected even though i’ve never met you! also, you KILLED the whole “brown” look!!
Okaiiii butttt what ifff you did like a organizing my clothest video showing how you organize your clothes and how you decide what to keep or what you might get rid of? Or like a spring cleaning viddddd
If the pods are anything like other professional dyes, the individual colors that make up the brown immediately bond upon touching the fabric. The dots of blue are probably because the blues in the brown color mix bonded to the fabric before the dye mixed all the way. Try it again mixing the dye with a little water first before putting on the fabric so the individual colors are all mixed beforehand.
I used the black one of these and it worked out ok. I was using it to touch up faded black clothing already though. I also threw some light grey things on and they turned out navy which I didn’t mind because it’s my fave colour

A year ago on Lauren’s video “I Let a personal Amazon shopper style me” she said “don’t love a brown” and I started dying laughing when remembering that
I feel like the blue came from one of the sweatshirt graphics caused the blue specks with the hot wash. I have tried this before and a pair of sweatpants had pink graphic, and with the hot wash the pink dye began to run and left pink specks in the brown clothes
Honestly, brown is one of my least favorite colors but I'm living for this video! So funny how it turned out, I was really hoping it goes well cuz You Lauren were so excited :D
I love how Laur was playing musical piano with her washing machine 😅 the things that did dye turned out pretty good 🙂. Maybe just look up how to dye polyster fabrics.
It’s probably previous laundry detergent stained on that’s giving it another color. It’s like when you go into a black light With what you thought was a clean shirt and It had the tide laundry detergent stain that glows.
Lauren, cotton fabrics take dye, more readily. Manmade fabrics, such as polyester, acetate, etc., need a special dye for that fabric. I have used Rit dye. I have never used Dylon.
brown is honestly an underrated color. i actually need to get (or dye) some brown clothes
