    OMG! I am a first year grad student here at FSU as a music department TA! I do makeup videos! It’s nice to see some more FSU students doing RUclips! 😊

    OMG I am so thankful to have found your channel! You touched on all the points that I needed to hear about - Very eloquently I must say btw. My daughter is off to FSU and we live in Miami so it’s far😢😢 It seems to me that she is a lot like you: maybe a little more introverted but yeah... your video is a GREAT help! Thanks so much!!! I’ll stay tuned. God bless you and all the best in all your endeavors😊

    I really enjoyed your video! Why did you choose FSU over other good schools like UF?

      Alexis Mojica well personally it came down to which school was the best & highly ranked for what I was going to study. I’m studying business & FSU is one of the highest ranked in Florida for business. & then of course comes the college life here that I fell in love with

    Hi Victoria, I just recently got into FSU for the fall and i’ll be there in August! I was wondering how far you are away from your family, and how long it took you to adjust to the new surroundings?

      I live about a 6 hour drive away. & it honestly took me about a week or two. Once your immersed in the college life & this new chapter ur about to begin you won’t worry about being homesick trust me !

    do you have a meal plan? do you think it’s worth it to get/ what’s your recommendation for a meal plan? i find them soooo confusing

    • @victorianicholemedina
      @victorianicholemedina  5 лет назад +3

      avionmember101 i Dont have a meal plan! & I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s an immense amount of money for practically the same food every single day. I recommend buying groceries & trying to make as much food in ur dorm as u can! There are also kitchens on every floor of every dorm!

    Hi, I’m going to FSU in the Fall and am trying to decide if I want to get a scooter. My Dad says he will get me one if I want, but I’m wondering If I could do without one because I’m concerned about the safety issues. Would you say it would make my life easier if I do get one? And do you think Tallahassee is a safe place for scooter drivers?

    Thanks for the great video. Im a senior here at fsu and plan to rush for Akpsi next fall. Do they accept upperclassmen? And how can I increase my chances of getting accepted to the fraternity?

    • @victorianicholemedina
      @victorianicholemedina  5 лет назад +1

      manu amaral well I don’t eat at Suwannee bc it’s expensive & it’s like the same pizza and pasta everyday lol. I buy groceries and try to make as much as my food as I can in my dorm & honestly I feel like I eat less at college lol. Like if anything I’m losing weight

    Does FSU have a nurse or medical major? Bc I always hear people talking a lot about Business.

      It does actually, very competitive from what I heard for the nursing major

    What do you think sets FSU apart from other universities in Florida?

  • @allayjahm4040
    @allayjahm4040 5 лет назад +3

    1:37 it is most definitely possible to do horrible freshman year and still graduate, graduate w/ honors, early, etc. So for all going in to college, don't try and do badly, but it's possible to improve if you do

    • @victorianicholemedina
      @victorianicholemedina  5 лет назад +3

      Allayjah M. I mean it’s just harder to do that. & if u don’t have the motivation in the beginning it’s hard to build it up. & u will also never get back a 4.0 GPA.

    • @allayjahm4040
      @allayjahm4040 5 лет назад +2

      @@victorianicholemedina Good point. I wasn't thinking of the 4.0 goal because that only matters for certain majors going to grad, law, or business school. It's definitely harder though, so I understand where you're coming from. I just added my comment as a way to get rid of the stigma of a poor first year in college, since not a lot of incoming students know it happens often.

    If you don’t mind... can you let us know about your stats that helped you get into FSU like your gpa, test scores, extracurriculars etc?

    • @victorianicholemedina
      @victorianicholemedina  5 лет назад +1

      Yolanda St.fleur yes! So in high school my unweighted gpa was 3.78, my SAT score that I used was a 1290, & i was involved in DECA (had officer positions), marching band and concert band, & Relay for Life. I hope this helps!
