1:07 You can see here that Matt has Patt on the edge. Why does he not hit him off? Well, it's because Matt knows that Patt can block his next swing no matter since these two gods are able to predict each other's swings.
Patt knows that Matt won't be able to hit him here so he blocks vertically, daring Matt to even try to hit him vertically, which Matt knows that he can't do. Patt feels safe here and tries to wait out the clock for a tie.
Matt, however, in a shining moment of brilliancy, purposefully hits Patt's block to give Patt a counterattack which Matt knows he can parry. Patt takes this opportunity to strike and hopes to avoid any parrying chances from Matt.
However, Matt's genius strikes again and he hits Patt horizontally at the exact same time Patt strikes him, perfectly parrying the counterattack, dodges Patt's feint expertly, and wins the round.
These two men are two powerful to exist in the same ring.
