This is not a fair comparison whatsoever. The man using the steam press is pressing a much larger garment with long sleeves which had a polo neck collar, whereas the woman using the roller iron was ironing a much smaller t-shirt with shorter sleeves that did not have a collar and she was using dry heat and therefore did not have to wait for the machine to generate steam.

Your title is "ironing speed comparison" therefore it IS about time because you are saying it is about the speed it takes to iron a garment - and in any case the larger the garment the more operations the man using the press would have to take because there is more manipulation of it on a smaller surface, whereas the smaller garment on a larger surface there is no manipulation - if she was ironing the larger garment on the same machine she would also have to move it about more than she would be doing
