It is beautiful. I love the balance of the colours and their combination. It's bright yet subtle and calming. Tiny squares too. I made a small bag of 1" squares many years ago and it was fiddly!
Catchy title. The math of quilting makes me think of how women used cookbooks for reading. Just like an unfinished symphony, the mystery captivates us.

That is a lovely quilt.
Yes, it is. I love it.
What a beautiful quilt!
It really is! More than 150 years later and it is still beautiful.
You are a great story teller. I wonder if she became ill or even died before she could finish this amazing quilt.
Thank you for the compliment. The quilt is amazing. I would be proud to have that on a bed in my home.
Beautiful quilt!
Nice video - the quilt was so intricate, very beautiful!

It is a beautiful quilt. The flowers are 3 dimensional which I forgot to mention. There is a bit of 'poof' in them.

It is a mystery, I wish I knew who made it and why it was not completed. Maybe there is not much of a story to it, but I was very intriguing.
Great mystery storytelling. How did the quilt get in the museum collection?
I am not certain, I assume it had been donated.
I am not familiar with quilting but I do not understand how is it not finished?
She has not finished doing the final stitching and the bindings.
Do they plan to complete the quilt or will they let a piece of it remain unfinished?
I believe the intent is to finish the quilt, including binding. I don't remember if the volunteer told me what would happen with the quilt.
Could be the maker was ill or died and unable to finish this.
Illness and death were not on my mind for this. Thanks for sharing.
