  • mental illnes is the most painful thing.
    biggest problem for people, who have mentally ill
    people in... within their homes.
    -human sanity is a very fragile thing.
    The line between sanity and insanity is so thin.
    If you push it every day, you will cross it.
    -, it’s becoming an epidemic in the world,
    -mental illnesses are growing like never before
    -… If body becomes pleasant, we call this health.
    If it becomes very pleasant, we call this pleasure.
    If your mind becomes pleasant, we call this peace.
    If it becomes very pleasant, we call this joy.
    If your emotions become pleasant, you call this love.
    If it becomes very pleasant, we call it compassion.
    If your very energies become pleasant, we call this bliss.
    If it becomes very pleasant, we call it ecstasy.
    If your surroundings become pleasant, we call this success

    He is onto something. One thing I didn’t agree with was him saying whole world is becoming sick (he’s right we do need to look at it) because honestly there have always been sick people it’s just we’re only recently becoming aware of it.

    I’m not spiritual but I see what he’s onto.
    Yeh, religion can do that, if you pick and choose.
    There is science, for all of it, but we don’t know everything.

      I don’t like romanticising insanity. Treat it like a disease that must be resolved and gotten out of asap before its too late

    Wisdom of shiva conciousness .. mental health and psychology.... According to world research nearly 50 percent of the world is in some type mental health or psychology problems... Shiva also had many anxiety as well... Shiva figured it out it's all about going into our own minds and solving it ... Rather then going into social minds ... It's all about our own minds .... Self psychology was by shiva nonduality meditation... Same as namaz in Islam and all religions it's all solving our own minds by being humble and understanding our own selfs... This is the meaning of meditation and namaz... No need for doctors or medications at all... Humans are able to solve Thier own problems by themselves by pure awareness and looking with our own minds and fixing the anxiety... It's proven by many when they practice namaz and meditation... Rather then fighting others to solve the problems the real way of shiva and Buddha and all Islam is about our ownsleves ... No need for violence or fighting others to prove that the true healing process its not ... The real way finding inner peace with our own thoughts and emotions thats the meaning of para brahma and vishnu and shiva and adi para shakti

      I would say it could be a part of a bigger management system. And I would be careful of anyone who claims it is a cure. Things like yoga and mindfulness are used as a psychological tool. From what I know, schizophrenia has a much more embedded chemical cause than some mental maladies. So a chemical specialist like a psychiatrist is usually needed as well. I would also be very careful of any psychiatrist who underestimates the value of yoga and mindfulness as part of a management system. Balance, and having a trusted someone to give you a reality check when the illness starts to overpower reality, is a good idea.

      LMNOP Thank you for saying this. These findings have been noted, yes; also diminished amygdala volume in psychopathy, miscued activation of the auditory cortex during auditory hallucinations in schizophrenia etc! People need to understand that the brain is comprised of billions of different neurons. It is one of, if not THE most, complex thing in the entire universe. Psychiatry was barbaric at one point but has made tremendous strides. No, it is not perfect. Yes, the pharmaceutical companies make it difficult to perform the job. Nevertheless, mental illness is real. Even if psychotropic medication does not directly address the underlying causes in some cases, there is still an application to them. Thanks to advancements in technology, we now have the tools to formulate a system better equipped to make more accurate diagnosis than the DSM. We do not have it at the present time, but progress is inevitable! People who discredit psychiatry only add to the stigma already attached to mental illness.

    Laughing when saying "you must be schizophrenic and need a psychiatrist" is not very spiritual. It's not funny. Having a family member who is diagnosed with schizophrenia is a very painful thing and not something to laugh about

    • @internalandexternalcorrupt6203
      @internalandexternalcorrupt6203 4 года назад +3

      Sometimes, I laugh whenever I learn a crazy fact. It's actually pretty normal, I'm sure he laughed out of facts. But if he did laugh while speaking about that sort of mental disorder or whatever, that's pretty fucked up.

    • @TheRealTycoNash
      @TheRealTycoNash 4 года назад +9

      You're misinterpreting Sadhguru tremendously... how can you think he's laughing AT the issue when clearly he's laughing AT the FACT... it's a fucked up problem on our hands and I sometimes laugh in a NON joking and piss take way at serious things when I talk about them. Misinterpretation can be dangerous... calm down. He meant no harm.

      @Joee Nasher SG is the enlightened one with millions of loving devotees - the onus is on him to be "response-able" (see IE book) and responsible when deciding to talk on such topics, on such platforms across many differing cultures. SG appears to have a real blind spot when it comes to clinical psychology/psychiatry. If you don't know about something. It is best not to then talk. He plays a dangerous game with his uninformed, confusing and sometimes nonchalant answers.
