I feel like Hollinger wrote this monster of an etude and didn’t actually anyone would actually be willing to try and play it, and then this complete god just came along and played it anyway 😂
Michael Williams hah
Hahaha, Thanks for the compliment! ;)
I simply cannot believe this playing.
pov: spamming notes in musescore at 3am be like
You have absolutely incredible technique !
An amazing performance, very true to the score! Wow.
Bro how can you play this perfectly in tune??
Epic 👍 BRAVO 👍
straight fire
The boys and I be listening to this 24/7
Wow...is there really anything else to say? Speechless.
I've said it thrice already within the first two minutes!
jesus the technique
Oh my god 🙀
When you don't know the fingering to the first note in a piece... and it's high... and pppp
It's easy with a lot of air and fingering: First octave key and both ring fingers
Bravo!!!!
Génial
Amazing
it sounds a little fightful...
すげーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー
circle means harmonics?
How the hell is that playable?
I'm an oboe player - the high notes aren't that hard...
@@somebody9033 I am an oboe player too- you need hearing protection for those notes (What's that you say? Can't hear you!) and skill to hit those notes without squeaks or quacks. It takes good breath control to hit them, and if you think they are so easy to play like in this piece- chances are you are not as good of a player as you think you are.
@@Skitdora2010 Um.. I have been playing for 15 years...
@@Skitdora2010 Of course, it takes a lot of practice to get anything above D to sound nice.
What is the meaning of "ord"? That is in the score
The "ord" means ordinario, after a special way of playing (for example harmonics) you should return to normal way of playing from the indicated sound.
there is a mistake at 2.31: in the score there is a high D, but it sounds F.... in my opinion the right note is F... what do you think about?
I cannot even understand the score... BTW, can someone answer me that what is the little circle on the note mean.
Choi Yat Lam It means that you have to play the written note as a harmonic
@@moritzkieckhofer2128 jesus christ
Amazing! Didn't know that was possible on the oboe.
Still, pretty loud for ppppp haha
to be fair I don't think it's humanly possible to play a c7 on oboe at pppp
based Holliger
This should me named “How to Annoy Your Housemates and Dogs.”
Can't see who is the oboist in this.
