my, my... I'm slowly trying to catch up with what's been happening in the last 4 years. I sincerely hope that you've remained an exception and that this level of riding has not become the new standard in Flat. I also hope many riders were playing this game, 'cause if most people are now landing these tricks, then I've really missed a lot. Nobody should have such a huge bag of tricks. Personal favorites would have to be 630 to outside jam-450 side down, full out suicide spin, and of course that slightly overflipped late trey3back. I've never seen anyone, in any sports (maybe with the exception of scootering, no offense) be as fast and trap as many movements in a single jump, as you. Alright, long enough comment. Love your work, love your riding, love you. HD.
@@yankochoynev652 You're right, and I'm sorry if my point came across that way. I guess what I meant to say is that I would have been sorry if I had missed so much on the sport's progression in just a few short years. I'd actually be thrilled if riders all had this level, but that would then mean that a few exceptional riders such as Eli would be even more ahead of the game with even more incredible tricks that I would have missed. I've always felt privileged to have witnessed the "earlier" days of the urban disciplines, and now be able to see their progressions into creative and technical sports, thanks to riders such as Eli. All this to say that I have the utmost respect for Eli, and for our community.
I waited a while to respond because at first I really didn't know what to say! Thank you for the kind words, Hugo. It means a lot coming from one of the guys who sparked my interest in unicycling in the first place (the 7spin in the basement on the pink unicycle stands out as super inspirational for me in the beginning). The game started with like 40 people I think, so it was pretty big at first. The battle in the top 6 was really intense. You can see exactly where things picked up- the treyflip-underflip. As for your favorite tricks- the 630 combo was set by Alexis Mercat and it feels seriously amazing. The latetrey3back was set by Scott Julian. And the suicide is an original trick of mine (which Scotty actually landed in the game). This game has me fully invested in unicycling again and I really couldn't be happier about it. Thanks again dude- I miss you and your riding. I hope you get some time to make a comeback video someday :)
Myself a few years ago would never have believed that I would say that, but riding a unicycle when you're 14-15 is relatively easy, when you've got all the time in the world. In my mind, the real feat comes from the few like you who find the time and dedication to keep pushing the envelope, even with the day job, fiancée, house, dog and a lot more I’m sure. Watching and learning with Unicycle School recently has given some motivation to pick up the une again, so I too hope I’ll be able to ride more in the future. I should be thanking you actually! Looking forward to see your new content.
Im a fan of you man!!! Seriously, Im from Costa Rica and I follow you since I was 9 (im 17 now) Last week I bought a Impact Gravity, and I really miss the Unicycle School :C Love you sooo much! You´re my unicycle hero :)
So I do flatland riding but I'm used 138mm cranks. Should I go down to 125mm? What cranks do you use? Also great video I've watched this so many times and tried a few.

Why would you want people to be less skilled? What a downer.
