My husband doesn't understand why I don't get the housework done, It's because I'm watching "Cole the Cornstar" all the time. Keep it up Hon you have answered so many questions about farming. My Uncle raised Hybrid corn for the government and also cotton when I was a kid.
I laughed so hard a good number of times throughout this video-the commentary is just too much to handle, I LOVE it! Thanks for the edumacation and laughs, Cornstar fam!
Love your videos. Stay safe around all the equipment and bins, and don't fall asleep working. I fell asleep once and put my truck off the road, so I speak from experience. Fortunately I wasn't injured.
Just finished winter wheat and decided to go to the beach. I almost felt bad watching your dad sweating when I was cooling off. He's becoming a favorite of mine.
So all the other equipment gets some cornstar love. The Cemetery equipment has yet, that I know of, had a cleaning video. Backhoe, skid steer, and Semi. And that trailer floor. Woof! I just like watching other people work. Thanks for the videos Cole!!!
@@ColeTheCornstar That's understandable. I will spill some corn on the ground tonight in reverence to your "dirty" cemetery equipment. Also, I think its great how you and your family handle the importance of a job such as digging graves. Your belief on life is spot on.
To keep from having rotten grain you should cut a plastic barrel that will fit under the augers, then cut hole in side of said barrel the size of the vacuum hose end and slide it in. No mess no fuss.
It’s always a great way to end a week watching the Corn Stars in action! Y’alls farm is like so many others, you make do with what you have, use ingenuity to make things work! And most importantly you work together! And before I forget, it’s hard to tell weather your “Corn Stache” is coming along or if that’s bean dust! 👍🏼
“Ain’t peed in 4 days and I’ve drank 18 gallons of water” lmao!!!! Would love to sit at a farmers table with you for breakfast daddy cornstar... would be the time of my life I’m sure.
Daddy Corn Star know where to hide😎 Those new couplers, do they have the round ball, or the ball with the nubbin on it??? Our mower/conditioner came with the nubbin style, had to clamp vice grips on it and use a big pry bar to get them uncoupled!!! Finally changed them out, no more problems!!!
Those newer couplers are the darndest things. A bit of WD-40 or some goose grease works pretty well when first snapping in and turning for a later disconnect.
When I saw the MF 2745 I almost threw my phone. Back in the 80’s I had 2 2805’s 1 2775, 2 2745’s and 1 2675. The 24 speed transmissions were junk, the 8 speeds were great. Never had any problems with anything other than the 24 speed transmission. At that time MF had the best cabs of any brand. The 2805’s and the 2775 would pull like a train.
Your hydraulic couplers, if you have the tractor shut off, try working your valve control lever to release the pressure in the line. Might help. Or just go to red power:)
Awesome dude realy enjoyed watching great editing has Cooper intensions to work on the farm together whith his Brother greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Had same issue with all of our farm machinery. I installed battery disconnects. Nothing fancy, just a flip the lever over disconnect from Tractor Supply.
It's great how well you all work together. The interaction is fun to watch. Are you still needing some funds for the camera you wanted to get? Would be happy to send you some. Thank for the weekly entertainment and seeing how things work on your farm. Be safe always and keep hydrated in those hot summer days.
What do you do on your down time? I know you have some. My uncle ran cattle on an small 80 acre farm while still working for the power company. I loved helping in the summer. You look very happy!
Really love watching you guys work as I just lay here getting ready for sleep. As always ya guys fashioning is on point. Have you ever thought of shaving your head or a buzz cut doe winter time?
I know this is an older video..but did you ever think about putting a kiddy pool under the augers to save the corn & beans that fall? I saw them do that on a farm near me..
I enjoy your videos. Sorry to hear you had to dig so many graves. I work for the township where I live and I sorta like working in the cemetary. Nobody bothers you and if a resident would I might not go back. Daddy corn star that might have been more info then we needed to know about that you haven’t peed in 4 days
I know cleaning bins is my favorite job for sure. Just wait until you add 30 years or so. That's when you start putting your kids in the bin. Thanks for the videos I really enjoy them.
Cole The Cornstar someday if your prettying it up and you want a couple let me know buddy. They would be going to a good home. The only thing I don’t know is if they are different a little being you have the Detroit engine not the Waukasha?
At my count from another video - you farm 1000s of acres. So can you expand on the grave digging story? Why do you do it? I heard daddy corn star talking about an uncle who did it for 40 years - and now you're doing it. But can you talk about why? Is it because of $? Or is it because the churches need you to do it and no one else will etc? Even if its short - can you do a focused video on the grave digging business?
Hey Daddy Cornstar you gonna be in big trouble if ya dont start peeing you need more then just water by now put keep drinking tho.. cucumbers and lemon with give you electrolytes also coconut water with least sugar..but I know this is old footage but hope yall have gotten it all done and doing ok... Cole you dont weigh that much but you lift so ur strong.. haha as always love watching the video.... have a good em
Sell/unload crops in winter so it'll be easy on engine/motor not to overheat. Of course, it depends on market. Beside ya`ll love cleaning bin in winter. 🤔

I love your dad he is so funny. I can see where you get your great personality
Cole, it is so refreshing to see a young person that isn't afraid to work. You guys are awesome! Keep it up!!
Always good to see you and your Dad on Saturday evening video posts ! Look forward to seeing your farms progress every week !

Landon Durrant a little break is always nice. Don't feel bad 😉 Glad you enjoy him!
Thanks for sharing all the videos of your daily adventures
I like the way you guys improvise and make things work most people today if we can buy a replacement tire it will not work
Thank you for sharing all your hard HOT work. Gatorade should sponsor a video.
Thomas Felch That would be pretty cool!
It's the mullet weight, that gives Cooper that extra edge when handling that lever.

The backhoe gets so dirty almost immediately, I don't wash it often. Skid steers as well.

Much love from my family to yours! Our nearest town is known as The Bean Capital! Mostly pinto!
Safety first Cole, don’t forget your mask when in the bin. Take care. Thanks for sharing.
Darrel S I always try to wear one. Luckily when the vac is on it sucks a large majority of the dust out of the bin.

Busy, busy! I always feel like I need a nap after watching you guys work.

Great video Corn Star, Very entertaining. Stay safe and God Bless
Nice video Cole really enjoy your videos very interesting to see how people farm across the pond as they say. Hello from England 👌

Our mower/conditioner came with the nubbin style, had to clamp vice grips on it and use a big pry bar to get them uncoupled!!! Finally changed them out, no more problems!!!
Gosselin Farms Ed Gosselin No, they're odd. They have a lever you turn on them. Always a pain!
You should try to find the rest of the fenders and engine covers and what not for that Oliver!
Superliner 101 it's hiding here somewhere
I agree with you Cole. Just finished off our last 17000 of stored corn no one enjoys cleaning the bins up
Lee Sherrill we've still got a couple to go

God dog Anna Cornstar. Always nearby for emotional support. 🐶
Daddy Cornstar finally figured out how to work the camera! Best footage from DC yet!
Might be worthwhile to consider putting a battery cut off switch on the Oliver.
Hay. Cole! Farming is never boring...always more to do. Good that you're getting your bean storage empty...and almost ready for 2019 harvest.
Michael Cook plenty to do yet!

Donovan Hagel Thank you! I appreciate your offer but I did get the camera I wanted. Videos will soon be utilizing it. 😇
Awesome video TY for sharing
I don’t remember if I shared this but you should build trickle charger in all the tractors. A good trickle charger is about 15 dollars.
I have the same polaris, that one looks like new compared to mine.

Got that Detroit diesel sounding good in the Oliver.
