That was a good honest review. I was in the market to buy the Titleist bag and now after watching this, I will. Whilst all the points you brought up (rubber handle, rubber feet, zip compartment for the rain hood/backpad, zip compartment for water bottle, Velcro lined rangefinder pocket etc) are good points and nice to have. If Titleist were to add all these, what is one of the lightest functional bags on the market moves up in weight and morphs into just another light carry golf bag. I’d sacrifice all of those points for a magnetic rangefinder pocket. Cheers, like I said good vid 👍🏻
I’ve used the bag now for about 6 rounds - I like it 👍🏻 I only carry 9 sometimes 10 clubs and it’s the perfect size for this. As you don’t get the dreaded “club jam” which gives me the absolute s….. It might be different if you lug a full set of clubs around. I’ve had no problem with the shoulder strap comfort (breaking in) from the get-go they have been comfortable and will get better as time goes on. Again, that might be different if carrying a full set. The only negative for me is the drink holder (mesh). It’s very ordinary, flimsy, cheap, poor quality and of a small diameter. Which makes it difficult to return the drink bottle to the holder when walking with the bag on your back - I don’t think it will last long, it’s garbage. The “ball pocket” is huge, Titleist could divide that in half, one side ball the other a drinks compartment, maybe even insulated. I’m down in Australia and it gets hot where I play. My last walkers golf bag (now my range bag) had one which was a winner but it suffered from club jam - loser. All-in-all, it’s a great bag and very happy with it 🏌️♂️
Just looking at my bag, the pocket next to the drink holder is surplus to any needs - I’ve got nothing in it. It’s ’s big and would make for a perfect insulated drink holder 🤷♂️
I live & golf in the UK and bought this bag May of this year. It is a small bag but as I only carry 12 clubs (all with midsize grips) it’s plenty big enough. Agree that the carry straps take a while to soften up but once they have can’t fault it. I personally would recommend it but just remember it’s a small lightweight carry bag and not a tour bag with loads of pockets etc.
Anything but the leather bag that they are selling heavily at the clubs..im hearing there designed by caddies..that’s a disgrace if the case..a leather bag with brass trim for 400$ that is 3x overweight and a strap that puts the bag near the ground is Not good for the game. Not playing, caddying, traveling, anything…it must be profitable…

Thank you for the comment.
I emailed customer support saying if they add a magnetic pocket like the vessel (opening up) it would sell so much. They’d become my perfect bag
I am hoping we see some new updates for 25----there is a lot of competition

@@MarkEvans-hk6in great comment! Totally agree on all points.
I noticed how my Ping Craz-E Lite bag is much taller than this Titleist Players 4 Carbon bag. Curious if this will have an effect on the balance(?).
Great question. We haven’t had any balance issues at all.
can you carry 14 clubs in this bag?
@@deidremichael3659 yes.

Sometimes it’s form over function
I just returned that bag - it is horrible. Also, top opening is too small and can't get clubs in & out.
@@brent54321 I see they do make a smallish one..we figure the basic leather one is 8 pounds empty..that’s not good for a great part of golf, walking.
@@brent54321did you return the leather bag or the carbon?
