What do you guys think is Polaroid's biggest "Malibu Stacy With New Hat" moment? Are there any other special cameras you'd like me to cover?
Also in my next video I promise not to say "interesting" as much as I did in this episode

That time when Polaroid released a camera that talks (636 Talking Camera).

Niche complaint, can you lower the audio mixing on the intro, its much louder than the video is and pretty high pitched

@@SebastianChavezBowtied hmmmm I've never noticed an issue on headphones or anything
What are you listening to it on?
I could very well just be deaf lol
Either way it's pretty easy for me to do. I can drop it to like 75% volume in the next video

It might also have to do with the way I composed the introduction song. I specifically added numerous layers of instruments to be as bombastic as possible
It might not be a case of true decibel loudness, but a perceived loudness

I have noticed this before but wasn't sure how best to ask. I've used my phone speakers and over-ear headphones, I've had to skip the intro to avoid turning volume down and up

@@theinstantcameraguy I just noticed as well, the intro is louder and high pitched compared to your own voice.
We're talking 2-3db lower would make a world of difference.
It's like looking at a bright light in the dark vs the bright light in a already bright room. The experience might be technically the same but it won't look the same

i work in the semiconductor industry and we have a lot of older equipment at my facility, some of our old pieces of test equipment i found were connected to a box with a Polaroid printer film holder/printer unit and it always intrigued me but no one ever knew anything about it when i asked the older techs, it probably was used with a scanning electron microscope as it was left when a tool was moved

Jake you absolute legend! I’m sending you a letter soon and I got 2 of my friends to send their cameras to you for an overhaul 😁👍🏼

I found this channel because I thrifted a pristine polaroid from the 90s 😅

I alswyas thought the polaroid 1200ff spectra was kind of intersting. But then again its just a different mechaism for the same film.

Dunno if you’re gonna like it, but captiva and i-zone can probably fit for the “experimental” series

That intro music is ridiculously loud. And not in a good way.

@@EvenTheDogAgrees is this the case for all my videos or just this one? I've literally run this channel for nearly a year now and nobody had complained until today
I listened to this episode back on headphones and it sounded... Fine?
Are you guys like listening on some kind of Dolby Atmos home theatre or something lol

@@theinstantcameraguy Wouldn't know about the other videos. Just noticed that intro music being quite a lot louder than the rest of the YT content I been watching today, had to turn the volume down for that bit. Listening on regular passive speakers connected to an amplifier; would probably have been more noticeable on headphones.
Don't you notice the volume difference between the intro music and the rest of your video? Or see it in your waveform in the editor?
