Hey evo imagine if frontier actually watched and listened and made the lagoon light available for outside of the lagoon
Did NOT expect this amount of effort for a free update. Finally ARCHWAYS, INCLUDING THE GATE! No more paths around the tour track one XD. I do wish as icing on the cake they included a standing animation for the Brachiosaurus but outside of that, this is a solid freebie.
I wish the log had the same placing mechanics as rocks, because one log in one position is going to get boring really, really quickly.
Hey evo the gate that you can go through allows small dinosaurs to go through there so you can have a gate way to different exhibits
The biggest dinosaur you going to fit in there is Gallimimus
Can sauropelta and other small armored herbivores fit tho?

First thing that came to mind with these fossil murals was outdoor corridors around big exhibits, maybe with the JP torch posts between them. There's so much potential in these. Never imagined Frontier would do this.
I wonder if the new tables and / or the Mr ADN statue are also added to the shops and attractions built in selectable decorations. I mean imagine a restaurant with the JP table or a laboratory visit with Mr ADN welcoming the guests !
These "fossilized walls" looks so great, I can't wait to experiment with them to increase the wow factor of my guest sections. Suck to be stuck at work right now :p

These decorations for the 30th Anniversary of JP look really fantastic! I can't wait to use these for my park builds someday in my game.
I cannot wait to make a Jurassic Park-style park with these new decorations! I'm gonna make one heck of a outdoor eating area. ^^

@@Breviparopus theyre right, jwe 1 it was very limited on decorations and things, looked like more of a zoo/corporate industrial than a theme park

This update is so wonderful. I wonder if we can get more fossil decorations in the future. Some decorations for inside enclosures would be awesome like nests with eggs, and for carnivore enclosures half eaten dinosaur bodies
The decorations released in the free update like totally changed how I can build parks! Those wall sections have allowed me to build defined and reasonably enclosed visitor areas, enabling me to build open-air versions of the visitor center's interior, open-air stations when the tour attraction is used for transport purposes, open air food courts, etc. Just the addition of those walls like completely changed how things can be built and arranged :D I love it! I do wish the JP emergency bunker decoration was a fully functional bunker variation, but it accents the functional version quite well when the two are combined to create a kind of emergency shelter complex.
You can also connect the walls nicely by putting them as close as you can together and putting the old JP torch column behind to add a bit of light and fill up the gap!

Ooh! I just thought of an idea to build a restraunt using the wall pieces around it and of course using the mural.
What a suprise that the paths are availeble on ALL ERAS (old console player :) ) and tysm for including the separate era thing to show what decorations you have on the different eras!! ❤❤

Man I really do love this update. Wanted new decorations for a while, so I'm really happy we got some based on the first film at that. Already got some ideas on how to use the new stuff. I think the mural is my favorite, but I'm really glad to have the skeletons, new tables and chairs, and of course the classic banner, and Mr. DNA statue. The log and poo pile are also great surprises, along with the new gate (though I wish it was available for the tours too).
I also want that Lagoon light on land too (and benches and trash cans). Hopefully in the next update or two down the road.
An awesome idea I got that you could use is making an enclosure for a small dinosaur and using the raptor mural as a background wall!
I can't wait to see what you do with the new path types!
For a JWE2 photographer like me, the option to use the lagoon spotlight on land would be HUGE!

Only thing I'm a little disappointed with is the fence gate is only for ranger teams...
It would be awsome to have the same gates be a substitute for the tour gates when u cross exhibits. Or be able to have paths go threw them as a decoration so guests can go threw fenced sections

I haven't had chance to play because of work so came here to see all the stuff. So excited about the gate that can now go over path!!
Cool video and great suggestion with the lights! I'm still hoping they'll add something that allows paths to go over the ride tracks and the lagoon and maybe even some other rides such as rollercoasters we can design and other rides for guests.
While these seem like cool additions, I've pretty much played this game to death and should any new maps come out, that would be cool. I'd love to have maps we can modify and add waterfalls, mountains, volcanos (both active and inactive), etc. If nothing else, maybe we'll get some of that in JWE3.
Paths DO go over tour tracks! That has been in the game since the start :)

2:13 new fence confirmed as the first one you selected with the two little poking pillar tops. The horizontal top piece one is the one I have in my anky park
I really love the update, and i am so glad that they made double gate actually work, instead of just being a decoration ❤. I mean what a waste it would be 😢. The arch for path is also great, but i would love to see normal "doors gate" that can be connected to both path and fence but you can manualy open and close it, so you can make closed guest sections in your park. That would be amazing for JP and JW gate. About the new fence, i am sure its the left one. I like it design, but i would love to have a classic dilo fence with the curved pylon. But still after all, this update is giving us amazing posibilities. And great showcase EVO as always 😊

Lovely free update, very confused about the "jurassic park fence". Frontier tries and yet some decisions are baffling. It's (edit: sort of) the Dilo fence but gigantic.
Perhaps they didn't want to make a short fence cuz they would have to make new animations for the shorter fence? I'm a bit baffled myself. But honestly I think it would be kinda funny if you had a short fence a Rex or any large carny.....walks up to it grunts at it then plows right over it or through it lol
You should use the big pile off. For the ceratosaurus enclosure in mini Nubler.
Whelp looks like I got a new OG JP park to build and some editing! These new decorations and buildings are a great edition! Especially that gate!😁👍

The fencing to the left is new its str8 from the trex enclosure scene its more broader apart then the normal fence and the top is different with the bars bending over
I've already had fun with a bunch of the new deco and am extremely happy with it!!!

I’ve been waiting on a gate that you can actually walk through for YEARS! I swear when trying to make the Trex exhibit in Jurassic world I wanted that gate at the entrence but it was impossible because the guests couldn’t walk though, now they can!
Somone new to evolution 2, while I played 1.. you kinda hold the game to a high regard and standard, which it's fun watching you make your stories and quirky familiar movie maps, but you do so saying you dont play realism modes. (Cash oriented.) And yes, you do explain its sandbox, and the settings have changes, and you equip all them to the point you are playing a baby game. But you showcase it off so much so as in, if I started it up. I could do my mini nublar experiment too. Well that's not the case, cause campaign unlocks the genomes for all non dlc characters, and is how you unlock original maps by playing chaos...you get the flat maps from the start. But I'm not a woman so idk ehat itd like to have a flat chest. Also you do give off the impression that a newcomer can come and try their best to recreate OG jarassic park builds, while it's kinda possible now for console. (Always been possible with mods for pc.) So its still such a let down. The experince, and the whole mood of the game in sandbox. The first game was way better as it started off as the attraction. I dont like starting my game off. Repairing upgraded fences over and over. And tranqualizing dinosaurs over and over. 100% comfort on each den. The campaign is b
Fun, but drop the game for a couple months and its boring and just goes nowhere. You should explain that so people dont get mislead with your excitment.

A cool idea is putting the pole1 decoration near water as a sort of reed. Another cool idea is putting one of the Jurassic Park hotels inside of an enclosure using invisible fencing.
One of my parks has 2 or 3 Spinosaurus skeletons because it was the only skeleton in the game. Now that there's 2 more skeletons, I'll probably be replacing some of the Spinosaurus skeletons.

In my personal opinion I think that most of the lagoon decor should be able to be placed on land.

If you look at the light fence with the y on top it's got a rusty 10000 volt sign on it it's the new one. Like the jeeps I don't think frontier can get the license for the blue and amber Signal lamps on the og fence.
Those walls can now make a food court or outside eating food court wity the tables and umbrellas now. Sad thing is we have to go hack to our parks and edit them all over again lol.

Frontier loves spinosaurus skeletons, there are three now: the whole skeleton, half the skull on the panel and the skull alone mounted.
Oh, I'm gonna have a blast with this! By the way, the left fence was new.

I have really bad internet so it's going to take me awhile to download but once I have it installed I'm going to go ham I'm going to be honest I'm not really good at making Parks look pretty I can make them look functional but I love the ideas you give me I want to start building some of them in my own parks

I honestly now prefer using the walls over fences. Mostly because exhibits with them remind me of some of the exhibits at the Philadelphia zoo.
