I did this drive in a Lamborghini. One of the best moments of my life. Top down in the Lambo, sunny day, nothing as vivacious sounding as the roar of a V10 and as exhilarating as the view from the shoreline.
I think it would've killed me.
a huracan or gallardo since you said v10
i from russia, and never seen ocean in life. Thank you so much for this experience. i love CA and LA. thank you for the opportunity to see the ocean
There is no way to value what it is worth to live in a beautiful place like this thanks for letting people all over the world experience a trip like this one
Always a fun drive and classic Southern California. Even though I'm a native and have done the drive since I was a child, I still think of all the films, TV shows, commercials and music videos this drive has been in.
I was born and raised in S. Cal. , I moved to Indiana when I married 52 years ago. My family still lives there. We had a beach house at Malibu lived in Brentwood, moved to Los Alamitos when I was a teen. Family now lives in Carlsbad and Mission Viejo. I love Indiana but my heart and soul are in California , this video took me back home, thanks❣️
Oh my gosh. Why in the world would you still live in Indiana when you still have a beach house in Malibu? Unless , your private jet can wisk you fastly every week end to the beach.
Dave Conerly the beach house is long gone, it was sold years ago and then it burned down in a brush fire.
. Indiana is a wonderful place to raise a family and a lot cheaper, California is nice to visit but it has changed to much for me❗️

@@M.Đ-z4u Mexicans? Really? That's it? Not the corrupt government, billions in missing money, high prices and taxes, horrible roads, awful business interference, bad drivers, crumbling infrastructure, awful public unions, low info voters, multitude of people flooding in from everywhere, and general nonsense from the 99% of the leadership?
The California we know is long gone. Politics destroyed it
Living in So Cal, sometimes I take this beautiful scenery for granted. It looks awesome to watch on video 😊👍🏻 I hope we can keep this beautiful nature clean for a long long time....
Same, I live in Santa Monica & being so busy I never really take time to appreciate it.
Tem razão. E mesmo sendo gringa, essa também é minha preocupação. O planeta É o NOSSO LAR. ❤️
The Sky, Trees & Ocean look so Beautiful. ..
Ross Miles And too exspensive
I love Malibu ❤️
Ciao from Italy 🇮🇹
It feels like I'm inside a game. I really love Malibu CA. Only see this in pictures and movies. No traffic at all, smooth and quiet. :)
First time seeing this vid. Instant GTA V vibes!
I'm from Russia.Thank you for your videos. These are amazing!
Thank you! Hope you subscribe.
Beautiful scenery 😍👍🏾🖐🏾
Califórnia Dreams !🎶
This was cool, my daughter and I are van lifers and we drove from Washington to Malibu a few weeks ago, we we staying along the beach there days before they started closing all access, I saw so many places where we stayed, drove by and visited and even the parking lot that we ate tacos and made the decision to drive to Texas to stay with family to post while the craziness passed! We can't wait to go back!
Nice scenic view of California. The best breath taking scenic view is route 101 from LA to San Francisco. That should be in people’s buck list.
Thanks for the info! Hope you subscribe.
gosh i miss this highway.........🥺😫
I have to visit california before i die. Thanks for the video.
Beautiful scenery there!
This is why so many live in Southern California. Beautiful trees & ocean to bring in refreshing breeze. Smooth sailing on PCH.
The Golden State is a great slogan and you could just as easily say the land of the Lucky most people that live here take it for granted
@Blu I'll take boring over crowds and congestion, I was born and raised in Cali, moved several years ago now I live in the state with the lowest coronavirus case count per capita in the nation and nearly the lowest case count overall. Yep ~ I like boring!!
@anders damin Real talk ...
@SP I know tons of people who moved out of Cali to other states in order to buy a home.
@MONO I don't like any weather extremes.
In these periods of confinement, from France it is a pleasure to see this beautiful sunny California. Thank you
Thanks for watching! Stay safe.
Thanks for the memories. Like being there again.
Beautiful ❤️ greetings from Florida.
Beautiful video. Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Beautiful blue skies everyday
Your wonderful video is such a blessing during quarantine. I feel calm and relaxed like I am driving in a new town while on vacation. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us.
Thanks for watching!
I grow up in Germany. Bad wheater, not nice people here. It's my dream to live and work in California. Hope my dream will come true soon. Thank you for this beautiful video.
same thing here in Honduras, but with worse people and 1000x more poverty and crime
Thankyou to the people who post videos like this. I'll probably never get down the PCH, but I watched this whole video and feel like I kind of have
Glad you enjoyed it.
That was great, I could have told several hundred stories on this video. That was my daily drive for years. Thank you!.
I appreciate your video😍
Showing us the beautiful southern
California 👍👍
Thank you! It was wonderful to see the old drive into Santa Monica after moving away from Malibu 40 years ago. Seems much of the drive has stayed the same, still takes 35-45 minutes on a good day without all the Sunday beachers clogging the highway! A treat back in time!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
"Car rides to Malibu
Strawberry ice cream, one spoon for two" - thank you Olivia Rodrigo, Deja vu inspired me to searching this.
Here in Australia, we call our east coast route the Pacific Highway. It is generally 10 to 20 kms inland though and we have a lot of coastal national parks. It does come near the beach in a few spots.
Very beautiful video. Bravo.. It is even more beautiful because there is no accompanying music. It gives the realistic experience first hand. Kudos ..
Thanks! I'm glad you like it
@@WindWalkTravelVideos Using a high vehicle was also a good factor as I watched other videos of the same section, not reflecting the scenery, taken using sedans...
LA and NYC, best places in the country.
I dunno. It's a mighty big country. haha
Can’t wait to go back there... great upload, thanks for sharing 💙
좋은 드라이브 영상 감사합니다.🚙🚙🇰🇷🇰🇷👍👍
Back in the day the first section here up to Santa Monica was the return trip of my 30 mile bike ride thru the mountain hwys.
In some places it got harrowing, where there is little or no shoulder.
This video brings back best memories.
beautiful place
I know, I lived in Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, My father (RIP) worked for a cable tv company and he installed cable tv in John Wayne house in Newport beach harbor he said John Wayne brought lemomaid out to them . I'm sorry I didn't go with him that day ...
Thanks for the Lyft ride down PCH 🤣🤣
Just one beautiful drive that I've done many times. Cheers. Rog. Pacific sunset records.
I don't know what to say, 45-50 years ago I and some friends would ride our bicycles from Santa Monica to past Malibu to big
rock on a Saturday or Sunday, haven't been anywhere near there since. Kind of left gasping, the first 10 minutes are unrecognizable or maybe I have memory failure, the North side seems so developed and I see anti-rock fencing too. And in some places no shoulder to ride. I guess that I should take a drive up there for nostalgia reasons or just to remember the good old days when I was able to ride my Colnago. Anyway, thanks for sharing this.
Yours,
Doug
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful video! Keep up the good work.
For us Europeans it's amazing to see pretty much no pedestrians at all on the streets.

So free and open and beautiful! Can't wait for higher frame rate videos to be enabled on RUclips, imagine shooting this at 120fps in 4k, it already looks realistic and good at 60fps!

Beautiful place! I hope to visit someday, Thanks from Romania!😄
Thanks for watching! Hope to visit your country someday.
So many expensive cars there! Shame with such nice weather people can't get outside and enjoy it for long.
we get it ....you like to drive fast...not easy to watch and not able to really look at anything.....where was the fire?....last time we drove in malibu we were relaxed and took time to observe things.
Nice view~ and Driving video~
This is nice! I don't know why but I like these types of videos, keep doing them :).
Why I think it is like not the reality? I live in Europe but anytime I watch these videos it feels like America is not like reality but a dream where I would live my entire life. Especially this part of USA (California, L.A)
For a lot of people, its only a dream to be able to live here. Not trying to be negative, but California is an expensive state as-is. These areas are even more expensive areas. I can assure you that more than 90% of the California population can't afford to live in an area like this.
@@JJFlores197 I can believe it. It is just like a dream world or a videogame.
good video😊good sound🤗 thank you soo much🤗 いつもありがとうございます😆✨ take care corona virus🙏
Arigato!!
wow so much nostalgia thank you very much! :)
Thanks for watching!
Nice city , beautiful ,, you are lucky,, I leave in desert city with lot of sand storm and very dry, very hot ,and poor infrastructure
Where?
Wind Walk Travel Videos ʬ Middle East
Hope to visit Middle East someday.
This must be during “lockdown”. Driven this road many tines and never seen it so quiet and so unpolluted. Look at that blue sky? Quite a rarity for LA. Loved my hols in Malibu but so grateful to live in a country that has blue skies, stunning beaches and yet NO crowds and pollution. Oh and of course now NO covid-19 cases 💗🇦🇺
right. they'd be sitting duck if it was during normal times.
You haven't been in LA for a long time? This is pretty typical weather. The heavy smog layers have become a rarity now. Along the coast this is pretty typical unless our foggy marine layer kicks in during the morning and early evening. It loooked like this today.
Excellent video. Greetings from Mexico.
Nice drive. Used to have to ride this way for work in the 90’s. Might have to make another Moto vid down there again soon.
Thanks for the sun! Its still winter here in NYC with nights at 30 degrees day time 40 and no sun! We wont see sun until July this is a treat!
It's almost May and still winter weather? I'll try to bring more sunshine. =)
@@WindWalkTravelVideos yes last year we were wearing winter coats in June! We cant go out anyway now but still!Winter is at least 7 plus months here!
@@WindWalkTravelVideos Thank you
I'm living on the other side of the pacific ocean and I have been Santa Monica beach many years ago, thanks for sharing so wonderful video.
Thanks for watching!
Ah I miss it, can’t wait to be back Wednesday.
Starting at 1:15 the rows of palm trees on the right hand side is Cher’s Malibu mansion.
For some reason my brother-in-law kept standing in line with her at the ice cream store at the little shopping center at the intersection of the canyon road and PCH for several months when he was working in the area. They must have gotten ice cream cravings at the same time of day. Just one of those things that can happen if you live here all your life.
Just did a similar drive yesterday. Was shocked to see how many people were parked and sitting on lawn chairs along the road when you cross into Ventura county.
I would love to do this drive in a VW Splitscreen Bus whilst listening to The Doors.
I used to drive this route in a 1972 VW Combi Van from 1990 to 1992. Then
I drove the Bus (surfer wagon) on Interstate 40 all the way to North Carolina.
I sold the Bus to a NASCAR owner for a $1000. The Bus is probably still
doing the beach run in NC. This Bus is featured in a poster I designed.
Many happy memories of this classic vehicle.
Yupp, i miss that feeling
Can I come alone?
beautiful vue sur le littoral de malibu pacific californie dz
whenever i hear malibu i just relive the entire two and half men from season 1 - 8
Luvin it 🌞🌴😎
I love living here. So lucky I am.
Reminds me of GTA 😅
Nice view take care
Nice
ok very very good thanks for the your
I enjoy yours vids.
Thanks!
Boxy buildings blocking sea views. In England we have Victorian and Edwardian houses in our seaside towns. As an Architect I love fine yet intricate buildings not square uninspired blocks. I love the mountains and palm trees and the beautiful blue of the Atlantic though so thank you 😊 I'm also a contrarian and love throwing a spanner into the works.
The blue of the Atlantic? California is in the west coast so that would be the blue of the PACIFIC ocean
Most of the blocks you see along PCH are the BACKS of the homes. Their front yards face the Pacific Ocean.
This is true. After around 1972 coastal development pretty much ended in California. For pristine coasts you have to go away from L.A. and San Francisco.
I Loved It. There is Nothing like it. Beautiful drive down the PCH! Thank You.
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos. Real stress busters especially your walking tours. Can you please upload some of your drive videos with ambient music. Thanks again and please keep posting
muy bueno!!
