I think Khanada and Epikwhale should be in the conversation as well. Epikwhale has 6 fncs wins, got 3rd at WC, and is super consistent. Khanada is only a 1 time fncs winner but he's the only person in the game to make every grand finals and he's always in the top 5, I think he's the most consistent players of all time.

The only thing that disqualifies Peter for me is the fact that while he has four FNCS wins, one being a lan, he was incredibly inconsistent until chapter 5. Even when he won with Bylah in chapter 3, the chapter was still inconsistent. Consistency across chapters is one of the biggest things I consider for the goat debate, and Peter just recently got that consistency. Now, if he keeps that consistency next chapter, even if he doesn't get anymore FNCS wins, he's definitely the winner of the debate

The Mero glaze is wild work, he played with one of the best IGL's for most of his FNCS wins and sure the LAN win was good, but it was probably the least competitive LAN in Fortnite history. Additionally, TaySon has had the second most dominant chapter of all time, which is only beaten by Peterbot in a shorter chapter with less big name players (newer big name players, less veterans etc.). TaySon got 4 FNCS wins over 2.5 years, Peterbot got 4 over 3 years with a huge drought in the middle. I think Mero doesn't even make top 4. My list would be 1. TaySon, 2. Peterbot, 3. Aqua, 4. Queasy, 5. Mero.

Thus, EU has more top tier players bc they are a bigger region…but are the T1s in EU better then the T1s in Na? Here's my idea: Peter is fortnite Jesus (out of the convo), NA/EU T1's are about the same, but when it comes to the rest of the player base, the avg. EU player is better. That's where the argument comes from. There are SOOO MANY players, and only a few spots, so your typical tournament player is just better out of necessity. A side note: look at the top 5's for LANs. It's NA #1... and then the rest are typically EU. IT seems like with the exception of a few players, EU is better at the highest level :D

Debating goat in an rng game is a bit complicated, also why do we only look at placements, how about looking at how those players performed, looking at things like eliminations, clutch plays etc.

The Mero glaze is wild work, he played with one of the best IGL's for most of his FNCS wins and sure the LAN win was good, but it was probably the least competitive LAN in Fortnite history. Additionally, TaySon has had the second most dominant chapter of all time, which is only beaten by Peterbot in a shorter chapter with less big name players (newer big name players, less veterans etc.). TaySon got 4 FNCS wins over 2.5 years, Peterbot got 4 over 3 years with a huge drought in the middle. I think Mero doesn't even make top 4. My list would be 1. TaySon, 2. Peterbot, 3. Aqua, 4. Queasy, 5. Mero.

Of major LANs, Eu has won two (Duo world cup and Kami Setty) and NA has won 3 (Solo world cup and last 2 gobals). NA got 1st and 2nd in esl. Thus, EU has more top tier players bc they are a bigger region…but are the T1s in EU better then the T1s in Na? I say probably not but it’s at least a lot closer then people making the argument for tayson being the goat make it sound

1. the EU teams that came to NA left for a reason. They couldn't make it on EU. They're not exactly the bet representatives here.
2. Yes, NA has more LAN wins. That has nothing to do with which region is harder.
Here's my idea: Peter is fortnite Jesus (out of the convo), NA/EU T1's are about the same, but when it comes to the rest of the player base, the avg. EU player is better. That's where the argument comes from. There are SOOO MANY players, and only a few spots, so your typical tournament player is just better out of necessity.
A side note: look at the top 5's for LANs. It's NA #1... and then the rest are typically EU. IT seems like with the exception of a few players, EU is better at the highest level :D

2: I agree with you except that I’m not sure if EU average player is better. My theory is that since EU is biggest region, they have the most good players, most bad players, most average players, etc. Since there are more good players, tournaments are probably typically more stacked but idk if the *average* plays is actually that much better. EU also has more players qual to lan so that also helps them be more stacked, although your last argument is probably EU’s strongest. I do think some NA teams na teams have gotten rlly bad luck at lans (acorn + cold in past 2, bugha mero surprise grief in invitational, etc) but that stats are probably more in favor of eu in that category
