I love how you have a fast version for those in a hurry at the beginning and a longer explanation afterward for those who need it. Very helpful! Well done!
@@MichaelBullo Yes, I'm currently college student at design school, however I passed the entrance exam through only drawing hand arts and had no knowledge about illustrator or photoshop or anything, so I had to start up from the very bottom. But I'm getting addicted to these programs, your channel was big help for me. Thank you from Korea.
@@이리야 Thank you very much. I'm happy to hear that my channel has helped. A big congratulations on getting into design school. I wish you all the best with your studies. Cheers from Australia.
Hi Thanks, this only worked partially for me. The end that has to fade away is only fading slightly. I have checked my black and it is 100% black. But the black over the object is only making the shape lighter and not transparent. Any suggestions?
Thank you. Areas that are black within a mask will create total transparency for that area of the masked object. I'm guessing that your gradient doesn't get to complete black until outside the object. Check to make sure your gradients within the mask end within the boundaries of the object getting masked.
You can change the opacity of an image from the Properties panel. You can also change the opacity via the Control panel. If you don't see the options running along the top of the Illustrator, from the Window menu choose Control. If any Adobe program, including Illustrator, starts displaying odd behaviour, I would recommend resetting the preferences. How do I make an image full opacity other than the transparency panel because that’s not working?
