Somehow i want him to be sb19's vocal coach someday?? I can say sb19 edge is their live performances, and their harmonization.. But in terms of singing their solo parts, that's what sb19 needs to improve on especially for josh and justin.. Kay ken breathing nlng siguro. So i guess someone like mr. jed will help them on those. Hoping!!

he actually wrote all the lyrics in their new release digital album. GET IN THE ZONE, out now in all music platforms.
Please react to their original songs po, HANGGANG SA HULI and TILALUHA. The leader, Sejun, wrote the lyrics of the songs.
They don't overpower each other talaga tho it's obvious who are the lead and main vocalists of the group. They really work as a team. And the harmony! Goosebumps! Even some great singers fail to do it sometimes. :)

Dati kasi sila sila lang nag mamakeup sa sarili nila tsak sila lang nag bibihis sa sarili nila . Ngayon kumikita na sila kaya afford na ang wardrobe at makeup artist . :) Sobrang proud na proud ako sa boys kasi ang layo na ng narating nila.

Our boys aren't perfect, Sir Jed. And I know what you'll say here will help them grow further. Still they were splendid here. i prefer this version despite the flaws. 😍
Edit: They debuted with a ballad, Sir Jed. They were never enclosed in that K-Pop inspired formula. Still, they want to keep introducing that new sound to the Filipino market (tho, Filos are already into Kpop). Right now, their comeback is a ballad. So yeah. They've always been true to OPM from the very beginning until now.

@@aldrine570 actually, the song you're saying, "Become petals" is from BNF which is managed by showbt wherein manages SB19 also. The piece maybe the same but if you listen and understand the lyrics carefully, the thought and message were different.
I expected him to say that Josh had a hard time singing the high part of the song but he didn’t, he probably didn’t notice coz it was normal in a live performance and it wasn't that bad at all

Lol ang hypocritical lang na people like Jed Madela keeps on looking for the Filipino feel & not being too foreign when his career thus far along with all his colleagues on ASAP has been all about singing western songs for decades.
Daming mga singer na sobrang daming kulot at kung anu-ano. Yung tipong gustong basagin lahat ang glass sa room dahil sa taas ng belt. But SB19 is nothing like that. They just sing with their heart. That is their signature. Kahit talagang perfect ang ilang singer sa pagkanta by technical aspect, wala pa ring charm. Si Josh is a rapper at medyo nasal but he had his charm. Kakaiba talaga sila sa mga typical performer na pinoy. Hindi ginagawang subtandard ang quality ng kanta dahil pinag-iisipan ang arrangement at pineperform na may puso Yun ang minamahal sa kanila ng fans. Di sila yung nakasanayan ng masang pinoy na celebrity. They do things on their own and all of them had input in it. Di nila kailangang maging sobrang gwapo. Pure talent but humble. Madaming mga p-pop na bago pero masyadong spoon fed tapos alang professionalism. Isa pa, dahil sincere sila, nakakasagot sila during presscon or interview na alang inaapakang iba. They just mind their own business. That is SB19.
Fun fact: SB19 write all their songs, choreograph all their dance routines, do their own styling, do their own make up with the help of heavenly voice SB19_Stell, sometimes do their own haircut with the help of bunso SB19_Justin, do their own song arrangement by leader SB19_Sejun. Since they're just more than a year since debut, they are still working on improving themselves.
SB19 will welcome any criticisms you may say. You know that you are SB19_Stell's singer inspiration.
So far, they're the best boy group in the country. They don't just perfected the dance skill, they could really sing/ good voices.

Sir Jed was, I guess, wary of his words... good points though I was personally expecting a more complex approach as to how he'd criticize their vocals regardless of how the way boys dressed during this performance... don't worry po SB19 fans (A'Tin) are open-minded so long as constructive po ang criticism niyo for them, we'd definitely understand as well as the boys as it's an opportunity for them to improve whatever it is that they have to improve. I think that some would less appreciate Josh because he sounds nasally at times pero I think nasal voice isn't bad. As long as he is in the stream, mapagaralan nya ung mas effective vocal techniques. Sabi nga eh iba iba pa rin talaga sila kaya iba iba din ang pasok ng vocal training per member. He may not have the best vocal register pero he has a good tone. Kasabayan nya kasi sila stell and sejun so I cant blame the pressure sa kanya
FYI lang po, they do almost all the work. They are the one who write and arrange their songs, they do the choreographies of them as well, and they're the one who style and put make-up on theirselves :)

They style themselves, do choreos and put lyrics on every music they have. Its a great feeling from a fan that you 'The' Jed Madela enjoyed their cover song of Bakit ba Ikaw. (Trivia: Sejun the Leader who started the rap is the one who arrange and put that rap, he is also the one who distributes the parts to each member)

It wasn't 'almost' flat. Flat talaga si Josh and it was very pitchy. But I like how Josh is improving now. He's smart in singing high ranges now combined with the decisiveness of Sejun in giving parts in solo and harmony in their songs. They compliment each others strengths and weaknesses.
