Wow! Your use of interior and exterior ambiance was spot on! I’m blind and I know a lot about echos and how they travel inside and outside. Your stereo spread is... really wide like something you might hear on a song recorded in the sixties or something! One little flaw I might point out though. Hobbits don’t wear shoes and there was a lot of click-clacking of heels in this video. Okay you might say well those might’ve been someone wearing boots. The shoes didn’t sound like boots to me- maybe dress shoes or loafers. I don’t point this out to your shame. It’s just this production was so good, it just... really stuck out to me. Very nice work!

It's okay i like constructive criticism, i tried some gravel footsteps on the outside and then wanted to use something on the interior to make it feel like someone was walking in the house, so i had to use shoes sounds, because if tried to simulate barefoot footsteps would be almost unnoticeable, with all the fireplace and other things going on. About the stereo spread you talked about, sounding like a song from the sixties does it mean that it's bad or good? Hahahaha i like the old recordings

In most modern audio-recordings the sounds are... uh... blended slightly so that the echo-effects from each sound are blended across the stereo field. In older recordings like Beatles songs for example, all the tracks sound... separate and not blended. Each track sounds sort of... incapsulated in its own space? *Shrug* I really desperately want to learn how to do sound-design or foli-artist work so I can dramatize my books and turn some of them into interactive apps for kids. I wish I had more knowledge of this stuff so I could explain this better. Anyways, the sound isn’t bad at all. I think it’s kind of refreshing actually. I’m cool with your spread though. It’s very original. Sorry for writing you a useless novella that tells you practically nothing. Keep up the good work!

Oh, so many ideas ! ) An evening in the Green Dragon Inn which must be one of the coziest places in the world, what with cracking fire, sounds of the cider poring into mugs, and joyful hobbit music! Or an afternoon in Rivendell, with its falling leaves, gentle sun rays through the tree canopies, chirping birds, and singing elves in the distance. Or, a night in majestic Lothlorien, with blue lights casting unsteady shadows, brooks babbling, and with fireflies and stars so bright you cannot tell them from each other. Also Elrond's library in Rivendell looks really enticing. Or Radagast's hut. Or, mines of Moria! Or simply, that front door to Bag End from your video, would be awesome to see it like 24 hour time lapse - with pink morning skies, turning into a bright day with butterflies and such, with heavy thunderstorm coming and going, turning slowly into evening, and then into a starry night.. )) Actually, I watched all of your Harry Potter videos and I often though how cool it would be to get at least one LOTR video from you. And here it is! )) So anything you do will be highly appreciated by the LOTR and hobbit fans )
