First of all: There is no right or wrong pronunciation for Dir en grey but the one you use is the most common in European countries I think.
Kyo uses the kanji for capital, so if you look up the pronunciation for Kyoto [his hometown and old capital of Japan] or Tokyo you have the right one ;)
The song itself does not talk about the bombings and the interpretation probably comes from their former video director who used this for their official pv for the song - the lyrics as you noticed are pretty poetic [even more so in Japanese] and Kyo rarely talks about a songs 'meaning' or 'idea', leaving it to the audience to find their own interpretation. The word Vinushka is a neologism that probably derives from a diminutive form of the Russian word for guilt. With the suffix used it can mean something like "guilt you have to accept and live with for the rest of your life" and carries a deep kind of sorrow.
Dir en grey can be really melodic and catchy but a lot of their songs seem completely devoid of any common structure as well. With a 25 year back cataloque they have a lot to choose from. There are certain songs, like Vinushka, that are requested very often for reaction videos but I would dare you to pick one that might have been requested only once because all their songs are awesome and worth of discovery! My pick would be Inconvenient Ideal [this version with english subtitles by the wonderful Kaya comes with a somewhat prolonged interlude and then starts with the song's acoustic version before switching to the normal one. It's wonderfully atmospheric]

thanks for reacting to DeG so fast after the first reaction Bobby, this song is really quite emotional, the emotion that kyo (pronounced Keeo as kyoto in japan) is amazing, if you react to more songs in the future I would recommend you Macabre live tabula rasa sub eng, it's a 16 minute masterpiece and you'll see what the band members are capable of, if you want something more theatrical and powerful I would recommend the world of mercy eng sub live hd, this is also another masterpiece from the band, the vocalist from versailles you are referring to I think it would be Kamijo, I also found Kyo's voice quite similar to his timbre as soon as I discovered the band, I hope your journey with them is long because interesting songs will not be lacking, greetings!!!

Those musicians are all monsters especially on their last releases
