Just letting you know that you can also use f R' f' as an insert. One application of it is f R' f' U' R' U' R which solves one of the EO cases with the flipped edge in slot
You better watch out Brody, Cubehead might pass you in subs. Tbh I wouldn't be too surprised. I still am a huge fan of you! You have helped me a lot at getting better at 3x3. I am now averaging 23-24 seconds. Thank you so much for all of your hard work!
1:00 I saw that f2l trick on one of feliks zemdegs solve reconstruction video and I have also started using it after that and my times have gotten better.
for the first pair you could do (U) sledge f R f which you can cancel to R' F R S R f' (assuming FR is open) for 2:30 you could (and always should) just do the f from homegrip after the R U2 R'
You don't need to regrip f R f', just start in home grip, do f with right finger, roll R and f' with left index Also at 2:45 you can do R' F R' F' R U' R
Idk if thats better though because I cant do it nearly as fast as regriping and doing the regular one just because the Fw is so inconsistent when your trying to rip
Another variation you can do is f R2 f', it's really niche and kinda risky, but personally I've been able to execute it without much trouble. I mostly use it for first pair, like if there is a free pair right in front of you but goes into BR slot. There might be a use for it in between solutions, but I haven't really played with that.
1:46 S R S' R' U2 R Starts in homegrip 2:35 U R' U R B' R B R' Starts and ends in homegrip, regripless 3:04 R U' R' S R S' S Starts in homegrip, regripless, S moves are easier than f imo
Brody PLEASE MAKE A PLL TUTORIAL!!!!! When I saw your 2-look OLL tutorial I learned it and I REALLY liked how you explained it. I really hope you see this comment.
I think I have a better finger trick and I have been using this for quite some time: you can stay in home grip and use index pinch for f and use the third finger to complete f' while regripping your hand. Probably this will help.
I average 15 seconds and I use this a lot still, but something I thought of a couple weeks ago was using it to cansle other rotations. What I mean is that if you use this to insert a pair but have to rotate after for another pair, then don’t do it. But if you rotate for inserting then rotate again for another pair, then use this trick. I wish I could do this, but my look ahead is basically nonexistent.
Really cool way to insert in the back right. The only thing I concern about is whether the look ahead will be affected by this kind of insertion. I think I will use this alg for sure for my last pair
No way... I used this same trick to avoid cube rotating I also figured it on my own I got this idea from Jay's video " The new 3 move insert" I have been using this trick for nearly 3 months and I progressed from 16-17 avg of 5 to 14-15. But I don't know why this trick feels inefficient (at least for me)
I’ve been learning colour neutrality for the past couple of days, and it’s really hard. Do you have a few tricks for it? For Brody, if you read this: Platypus
I used this trick for a time but don’t like it since it severely hinders lookahead by moving the entire top layer away. By cube rotating you can also see what pieces are in the back slot adjacent to the one inserting into.
It's funny that as bad as I am, I accidentally discovered this long ago. I've been using it not knowing if it was really good, it just seemed to work for me. I'm going to see what else I can do with it.
I recently tried to do this stuff and got I realise I m faster with this but after some time I found out that it makes my lookahead worse so I stopped doing it

yes, I need to start doing this as well. There are some really cool ways to set up into that insert
dammit that was going to my comment!
oh holy crap!
how did I not know about this??
bruh i do the R' U' M U R U' R' U' r alg for the same case and i find mysefl preatty comfortable doing it so idk
Thanks friend for your tricks, it helped me a lot, cheers from Colombia

I clicked for the moustache...where is the moustache??
anyways nice tips Brody!
I don’t use wide move inserts anymore since it makes look ahead harder
Isn't that what he was explaining in the entire video, bruh.....
You can do f R S' to set up for a nice F 2-gen F' last slot case for FL, if you are comfortable doing so
for the first pair you could do (U) sledge f R f which you can cancel to R' F R S R f' (assuming FR is open)
for 2:30 you could (and always should) just do the f from homegrip after the R U2 R'
omg!!!!!!!!!! I swear, just a week ago I figured this trick out by myself and then saw Feliks' solves and now you also showed this trick.
Brody F2Ls are out of this world, because of which I was gonna sleep after studying,.. but I am watching this...

I started using this trick a month ago.
I actually saw it in a J perm F2l video
I love how I've already been using dis for a year now
Came for the tips, stayed for the mustache.
It can cancel into the start of some OLLs when used on the last F2L pair
you can also apply a similar trick to a ready pair that needs to solve into the backright, do f R’ f’
The best thumbnail ever!!!
Thanks so much I hate that one f2l case, it’s the worst in my humble opinion
