- How to be a vinyl DJ 101.
No gigs to prep for this week so thought why not give a little sneak peek into my bag!
What’s not in the bag: custom made earplugs, usb sticks, towel, fresh pair of socks😂
Curious what you think of this videos, any feedback or things you have in your bag I should consider?? Comment please :)

the airtag thing is very smart, I never thought of this but I'll do it too
please do a review on the delay pedal. seems to be a very affordable unit. would love to know more about your settings and the sound quality :)
yes will do! have a custom program made by a friend but from looking at the software it’s not that hard to setup / make one yourself or download others.
The setup I have now is the level knob functions as a bandpass filter, the tap button can be used for the bpm (or the top left button). feedback is still feedback but goes to 105% for self oscillating. It’s really fun coz it sounds great & crisp and because the knobs do what they do, you can kinda use it as an instrument as well or do fun echo sweeps in frequency range or in bpm range :) (or both!)
Do you discuss this with (for example) the sound engineer before you replace the needles already installed with your own pair? I can imagine not everyone would appreciate you messing with the setup just before the gig!
if the needles are good the needles are good. if not, the sound engineer needs to do his job better and then i’m happy I have a spare set of needles! but lots of venues don’t have a dedicated sound engineer either and vinyl is a bit forgotten sometimes so better be prepared
Really curious about what brand of recorder and fx you use? :)
see description of the video ;) it’s tascam and tc electronic
