    Excellent work! Thanks for sharing!

Hi. The lcd drivers put out a 0-5v pp voltage in reference to the digital ground. Im sure you could decode the 30 pins and load registers in an arduino for math or data output. All kinds different things could be possibe. Neat idea. Put a little touch screen. Would be a fun project. Thanks for watching👍

That's really neat, I like it! I was thinking of doing something similar with an AVO DA116 digital multimeter, that one has a failing LCD with segments that come and go as they please, and it's not the driver circuitry to blame, sadly!

Hi. I was looking up that AVO you have. Thats a cool piece. Definitely worth bringing to full operation. Thanks for watching 👍

It look so good, great work! I’m curious to know what IC you used to buffer the signal

Hi there. The buffers are the SN74LV240ANSR. It is an inverting buffer with an enable disable function for buss managment. Im using both of the enable disable pins on all four chips on a pull up resistor pulled low by a single n channel mos driven by the BP drive pin on the meters ic. The rest of the lcd pins go one for one through the buffer.
      Thanks for watching.

im wondering if how many volts are the output of the LCD driver. and if it could be read by arduino. planning also to do this but display will be OLED screen and much more information too display. hope you reply, thanks!
