What do you mean by walking the locate at the end? Can you explain that differently? Thanks for the vid I did NOT know about the clamp being below the ground, I always just try to put it as low as possible.
When I say Walk the locate, basically I mean start at your connection point and walk to the locate area following the utility that you’re locating. Don’t connect and assume that when you get to where you’re going there will be signal. What if for some reason your signal goes left and you want it to go right, you wouldn’t know unless you followed the path.
Great video. When using your receiver, I have noticed that the colour distortion code used and peak sometimes do not work in conjunction. A ‘green distortion’ signal and the peak high point are not the same. Usually the green distortion signal will be below the peak high point. When this happens which part of the signal will be closest to my target line? Thanks again!
I'm not sure I fully understand but I'll try my best. I believe you mean its green until you get over top/or at highest peak it changes? If so that is because the signal appears undistorted until you are directly over top of it or the coils are close to an object causing distortion. Such as a vehicle or fence perhaps. Your highest peak signal should always be the closest to directly over top of the target. That should be where you paint.

The V-Loc is great
But I think Radio Detection does a much better Job on separation and precision
If you reach out to your local rep. Have them come out and test it out.
@@vivaxcananada sure will
I have the v loc RTK and man sometimes it just totally disappoints me on how bad it bleeds off even on 512H
Please do. That’s not something I have heard of.
