On June 28, 2024, I cut caffeine, breads, pasta, any sugar in all products, sodas, milk, eggs, all meats, honey and now we’re on August 5, 2024. I officially lost 23 lbs. and I no longer have swollen ankles, belly shrank to almost flat and mine was as big as a woman who is 5 months pregnant - couldn’t even see my feet! I no longer have palpitations of my heart, I can walk for miles now and I no longer struggle going up the stairs, my skin is glowing and I noticed gray hairs I had growing in the front are growing in to my natural color! I’ve been sleeping so well and I barely slept before like 4 hours and now I’m waking up feeling well rested. I notice I can remember things where before I was struggling.
I went on this journey 2 months ago and to tell you the truth yesterday was my first day eating chicken and it was delish and I made sure to eat a small portion. I tried a fruit drink and it was so nasty because I could taste the sugar.
I have learned so much on how to take care of myself and eating normal portions that I don’t want to go back to how I used to eat. I have decided that I will continue eating healthy.
I wish all of you all the best and may your journey towards better health be a blessing! Take care!

@@kega6487😂😂😂😂 I get it. You have to find your happiness in something else not in food. Speaking from someone who likes pancakes, loves crackers.
PS: Being funny, but to speak truth, the Dr. may not like this, however after doing true keto 3 years) Now, on my 5 year I do eat Wasa Crispbread it does have 8 grams of carbs, but no sugar and 35 calories. I looked everywhere trying to find something I could eat, because I didn't want to grab anything on the days of craving, this was the best. I add mustard for a base to whatever I'm adding, if it's not almond butter, it makes it taste better. I feel my body is handling just fine.
Good Luck! It's not easy, but in time those cravings will diminish, then go away, especially if you are eating good food. You can do it! Sending you many prayers. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

I was on keto for seven years. Now, I'm intermittent fasting, but my dinner meal includes carbs because for me I don't want to feel like I'm depriving myself. It works for me. Also, I am mindful of portion control, but Sunday is one of my days off and I do not fast on that day. I'm free for brunch, lunch or bbq(s) with friends or family or just myself. This works for me. I do appreciate these videos, though.. I like the sea salt tip! ❤

      Dr Berg this is amazing.
I recently started fasting during the lent season. I have made mistakes breaking my fast. I also am overweight. I am in my 50’s and this is tough to lose the visceral fat. I also have a narrow air way in my throat so “good sleep” needed for weight loss is a hindrance. I am really trying. Working out creates anxiety (not sure why I played sports when I was younger.) I also wake up with a pain in my belly like anxiety. My fast the last 2 weeks has been last meal Monday at 7 pm until Friday at noon.
I have lost 6 pounds. The weekend when I eat is when it all goes wrong.
I will keep watching your videos.

During the covid 2020 lockdowns, I started having panic attacks about food shortages, how to avoid people, etc. I have been retired since 2012, so I really don't need to go a lot of places anyway. Then I discovered food delivery services so that I could avoid people. I began to eat out of stress, so I was ordering all sorts of comfort foods. Gained 20 pounds. After the covid drama died down, I went back to Keto, IF and OMAD and lost all the extra weight. If I ever feel tempted to stray from my healthy routine, I have a note taped to my computer that reads "watch Dr. Berg". Works great every time!

I work out early morning before starting my day. Take a 32oz bottle of water with added electrolyte powder (Dr. Berg brand 🙃). Didn’t eat til around 3/4pm, eat grass fed meats and organic veggies, lots of healthy nuts 😉, made keto fat bombs, and no added carbs, just have carbs from veggies and clean eating. I did not follow everything to a ‘T’. Listened to my body, paid attention to what made me feel good. Never been so healthy or felt better in my life. Have more energy, physical well-being at 50 years young than I did @ 25. It may feel challenging at times to break away from old habits, but the payoff of priceless! I look better, feel better, and my bloodwork is all A1! Once attuned to your body, it will guide you. We’ve been ‘fooled’ and programmed all our lives to think what is GOOD is bad for us! I’d also like to add, BRAIN HEALTH was impacted in a HUGE way! No more meds. Our symptoms are ‘treated’ with pills. Turns out the only ‘medicine’ I needed was proper nutrition (low carb/sugar). Has seriously changed my life. Since I began my journey almost 18 months ago, I’ve since discovered A LOT of interesting info about brain health and this type of diet. I would suggest to get a notebook and write down everything you eat. The good, bad and ugly, meaning even if you slip and had a donut at work or something, because when I help people they sometimes forget about that donut here, a bagel there and they add up. It is a helpful way for you to see what is really happening, keep you accountable. I still do this every day for the last 5 years.Yes, it can be a pain sometimes, but it is soo helpful. And each every single day of the holy month. It is kind of a dry fast 16-18 hours depend on the region. Fast starts almost an hour before down till sunset.
It's a compulsory fast everyday in month if we miss you to illness or travel what should count those days and complete these after that month.

He ask, she'd keep eating until she was done.
Then one day, he blindfolded her, and then handed her her bowl of pasta. They chatted, but this time, the second time he asked her if she was still hungry, she paused, and said No. She looked at her half full bowl in surprise. And the next day, she ate quietly and just stopped on her own.

Salt is Sodium Cloride, so no, there is no difference. The dude is a chiropractor, so take his advice with a grain of Himalyan salt.

Himalayan salt and sea salt have more minerals in them than basic salt. Better for your health.

    • @DonnyDump
      @DonnyDump 10 месяцев назад +1

@@erinnab8335depends on the minerals. Could contain toxins as there is no control

@@ivan200804 I appreciate the comment and the cute play on words there, however, I'll pass on the advice. Chiropractors are educated more on nutrition than primary doctors. In addition, it makes no difference to me "that he's only a chiropractor". The fact that he continues to self-educate and continues to learn is why I listen to him. He adds value to so many others by passing on that knowledge and it has already helped me personally. Your advise didn't really help...so please take that with a grain of pink himalayan salt 😊

Yup! Love Dr. Berg! I started watching his videos after having panic attacks after my Covid vaccines. I started fasting & it never came back. Only eat when you’re hungry & eat lots of veggies like 7 cups of kale per day & healthy meats. I skip the carbs & if I crave a snack, I’ll grab a fruit instead. Just trying to stay healthy & alive.

I lost 52 pounds in 3 months doing this. Was 280, now I'm 228. Keto plus a good amount of cardio and some weight lifting to increase muscle mass and boost my metabolism.

You should reduce calories and if you want to reduce insulin resistance, minimize fats and meats. You shouldn't eat at night.
