I totally agree with the importance of being the kindest and spending the most energy on the inner circle! It’s also a way to convey appreciation, consideration, and respect. Also, in terms of energy allotment, I know I feel my best when I try to put energy into deserving people and things, instead of things that drain me (people who drain me and mindsets that don’t serve me). Yes, but people closest to us trigger us the most because we are most vulnerable with them. Also, they are our safety zone so we are comfortable expressing all those complex(sometimes not pretty) feelings and we know that they know our true self even when we act like fools. I think that's not the case with other people and it's natural. But I do agree with you, we should always strive to treat our near and dear better.
