You can't beat the sound of a petrol racing engine. So much better to listen to than a diesel!!
but diesel engines need less fuel and the Audi r18 fucked everything with it
even setting a le Mans record on circruit de la sathre with 3:17min
and r18 sounds better
Dgisch smh
@@djischUltimately not true, it was beaten by Kamui in a Toyota I believe
@@wolfx.2546Kobayashi finished in 3:14 with TS050 on medium tyres
THIS, boys, is a fuckin good sound for an engine !
Great sound,i prefer this sound than the F1
Very nice driving. Very fast and efficient.
0:52 shifting between dimensions whilst passing the Kearny-Fuchida barrier where the existence of matter changes fluently. For a matter of nanoseconds, which are experienced as seconds in the driver´s mind, he is to connected to the universe´s past, present and future at the very same moment. With some pilots this experience often leads to what is called the god-complex.
Toyota POWER!
Elle aurait dû gagner ='(
Great!
today's cars are technical marvels. But I would rather see the old Ford, Ferrari, Porsche and Jaguar cars any day.
brand snob
this car looks about 70mph faster then the slower cars. that must be challenging during the night time hours
Nisshinbo's capacitor is best.
mais pourquoi le onboard s'arrete avant la fin?! les realisateurs m'enervent...
Amazing cornering speed! What F1? Now I get why Newey wants to make the move to Le Mans and quit F1...
I initially had the same reaction as you to the speed, until I looked up some lap times: When these cars raced at silverstone earlier this year, Mark Webber set a qualifying time of 1:42:59. Mark currently holds the F1 lap record at silverstone at a 1:33:40.... Same circuit, same driver, 9 second advantage to the F1.
Yeah, I did the same research. It's true. Anyway, I think it's quite interesting for the designers, even more for engineers, because of the less restrictive rules. Newey has been complaining about that, though he is in a way responsable for the increasing restrictions...
Some people say the 900horsepower Toyota LMP1 faster than F1. Maybe straight lines due to it power to weight but in corners, grip to weight is the most important ratio. Depends what tyre it's on.
The speed is staggering! We're adding this to our RaceWorldTV motorsport library, go check it out.
ca marche en criss!!!
すっげえ加速^^
is it just me or is he lifting off the throttle way before the braking zone?
That's deliberate. I noticed this in all of the onboards with the hybrid lmp1 cars. It's something to do with regenerating the electrical energy in a more optimal manner. Also, saves conventional petrol or diesel in the Audi's case. If the drivers were doing this all the time, they might have been able to eek out an extra lap before pitting. Which helps a great deal at le mans
Kieran Brooks it's called " lift and coast "
Why Audi R18 has that kind of spacecraft sound when braking compared to toyota.
+Raymond Foo It's the electric "braking". I think, back in 2014, Toyota had the best package of engine, but then in 2015 Porsche and Audi made a better Job in developing the hybrids...
+matthy31 That and the TS040 v8 was so noisy you just couldn't hear the straight cut gears of the hybrid system over it.
mmatthes No.
AUDI had flywheel on 2014 :) That's why :)
Now in Audi :) :) :D
