These have so much momental torque even if they're barely turning they still pull the sled.
Imagine that thing on a airplane putting out that type of torque.
Got to hand it to the Radial Reactor. The modified radial engine tractors are very touchy and hardly run smooth. This guy had a smooth engine run both times. Usually you get small stalls because they are hard to stay idling at high rpm's.
Not counting the deterioration of the track which caused bouncing.
That is one of the worst track prep jobs I have ever seen. Lucky someone didn’t get killed. That was a hard clay track. This type of track takes different preparation . Thanks to the pullers for putting on the show. If the hiring body is paying for a show of this QUALITY, the track prep is a such a small expense. Not a lot of people in the grandstands and I bet not a lot of advertising.
Radial engine tractors are extremely rare in the US, but are pretty common in Europe.
Mistertbones the US is very strict in there emissions regulations.
