Um.... I just switched from Premiere to Davinci Resolve, and I have to say, I'm soooo much happier with Davinci Resolve. So, it's NO on Premiere and a NO for Capcut for me.

Capcut is like for people who don't like learning too much hard stuff about editing and learning it in a fast and easy way. And bonus point, it's for free!
Accurate comment
It’s a great starting point! For simple edits, it’s pretty robust in what it can do compared to say, iMovie. There are others though that are objectively way better. Resolve is also free and delivers a similar level of quality to Premier Pro
@@snowset675 one thing is that they’ve began to slap the pro feature on a lot of features I used in my edits (like smart sharpen and a lot more)

as a capcut editor, my first time trying premiere pro, i was so confused how to use it. but when you get the hang of it, you can make great videos.
edit: i hate having to add so many plugins, better off preinstalled.

I personally do edits with capcut pc and I am in love with that, it is more optimized as well as has easy to use interface, the effects, the transitions, the animations are on another level, I never used premire pro but we cannot deny the fact that softweres like premire pro and after effects need high level skills, yes, and also some more computing power as well as expense, long story short, capcut is good for short badass videos but for long impressive project, premire pro takes the win

I have been using Cap Cut for a few months to edit my page. At first, I was very satisfied with the page, but after a few months, my work became a little difficult because I could not do what others do, and I started to learn Premiere and after effect.
Meanwhile, my friend who is proficient in after effect and primer, he do 80% of my work his Cap Cut because of the ease of working with Cap Cut.
So we conclude that primer is more professional and cap cut is easier✌

Despite all its free features and great easiness, don't forget this thing: Rendering Time. When I render 2GB footage for my RUclips channel, it needs 4-7 hours to render using Premiere Pro. But using CapCut desktop, it needs less than ten minutes. Here's my old PC: i5 4th gen, 8GB of RAM, SSD, GeForce GTX 750ti. I've been using CapCut for a month. And I must say: Good Bye Premiere Pro and thanks for accompanying me for years.
You must be using cracked Premiere pro and its not Premiere's fault if you have a potato PC.

The thing i like in capcut is shakes !!! They are the thing that haunts me the most in after effect and premiere pro..imagine making those capcut shakes it will take so much time while in capcut its just a click

Just to let you know, normalizing the audio can boost the audio levels but keep the high ones intact to create an AGC (Auto gain control) for the entire video. Good luck
For the speed reverse use ctrl+r to open that menu. That's faster than the right click.
Switched from Capcut to Resolve a few months ago. Capcut was beautiful in its simplicity and it helped me get into video-editing. However, Resolve has more tools, and is also free. I’ve never made videos that look this good. But yeah, screw adobe so team Capcut!!
I did downloaded Resolve on my iMac 2021 with 8GB ram just to try out. Unfortunately it was showing Offline error after importing file to time line and wont' be able play without buffering. I had to uninstall the software. I have been using CapCup (Desktop and phone version) for last few days and really enjoying it. So easy to use and it kind of has everything one may need for youtube video or social media purpose.
Interesting, never even thought much about capcut until this vid. I think for basic editing for things like vlogs, short-form content and stuff that isn't necessarily "complex" CapCut seems to be the way to go. IMO, programs like After Effects/Premiere and Da Vinci Resolve will always reign supreme when it comes to long-form motion graphics-based content. Always good to see competition against Adobe lol

One thing about capcut which I still don’t understand is how quickly it renders even stuff like heavily edited 4k or 2k footage renders pretty much instantly on desktop (can’t say that about premiere and capcut’s mobile app) and I have a pretty low end pc too but the capcut have uncovered some forbidden magic to make it render that fast.
It renders so quick because the codecs that CapCut uses most likely compresses the hell out of the export

I’m all in for Premiere + After Effects. CapCut for me is way too limiting, but in After Effects you can literally do anything.
Yeah it like you can abuse Premiere pro and After effects, Its your own creativity in those unlike capcut where you are kinda limited with the stock effects and less features But still capcut wins for simplicity and Beginner friendly
@@vanshbjp if you want to editing try hard like animation and 3d models, premiere + after Effects it's easy way to do it, and capcut is hard to do. Capcut just for some effect, filters and translation. Capcut help you reused their things, premiere pro and after effects help to creating. By the way, It doesn't matter which software you use, all these are tools which you can leverage.

I have both installed on my laptop, but I used my CapCut only for voice over. Never had time to go deeper. Same with Da Vinchi - no time. 😊

I just used Capcut last week and my mind was blown haha. Only thing I couldn't figure out was how to copy clip attributes to another clip like crop and color etc.

I have been using premiere pro around 3 yrs to edit Instagram car reels. It's absolutely a professional editor. And nowadays I'm just trying capcut. And it's not bad. But capcut have limitations

the most important part of video editor is if it has ability to read files at variaty of codec and formats and that includes color formats
lets say davinci resolve
its kinda trash where its restricted to 8 bits color range and cant go beyond 4:2:0 chroma subsampling unless they updated it which i doubt it
the second importance is performance cause you want editing to not stutter
and last is reliability cause you dont want glitchy exports or stereo audio suddenly at random timeline turning mono audio for no good reason
and final important part is that it dont watermark your video cause no one wants to see that especially the creator

Using capcut for nearly 2 years now…
as a full time capcut editor,there r many other things in capcut that....ik that there r pre made shakes but u can also add many of those effects,animations,overlays etc to make a single shake by urself...same is the case with effects,text ,cc quality...most of the ppl using capcut r usually beginners only and they become intermediate at editing,they shift to apps like pr,davinci resolve,ae and all,but if u apply ur skillset and intelligence on capcut,u will realize the potential of this app.ik that this app may not be as good as apps like ae and all but there is only a bit diff
You won’t see capcut being used for anything in any major industry, there’s a reason for that. Capcut is limited in what it can do. It’s a great software for beginners, but no matter what anyone says it’s just that

I did use few different video editing software over the years, probably not the major one. But recently I have been using CapCut and really enjoying it. The layout is super intuitive and organised. There are a lot of features that are easy to find like filters, animation, all the editing tools and cool AI features like auto captions is mind blowing. Really easy to use and super happy.

im doing it on a different subject and whenever i keyframe the start/end offset, the effect flickers around the subject instead of moving in one clean path
imagine someone use CC + AE + Blender + PR for one video i think it would be pretty useless but the edits gonna be op

Davinci Resolve is the actual competitor of Premiere and is even better for me.

My main issue with cap cut is lack of dual audio support as a gamer that's so annoying
I tried capcut for basic video editing it does the job done but it is missing alot of feature that Pr have, so I say it all depends on what kind of video you are making
What about after effects ?
My favorite video editing software is none of the above. My favorite one is DaVinci Resolve.

I used DaVinci resolve before but I switched to premiere due to it running a lot faster for me.

Capcut reduces alot of quality..i had once rendered on capcut a 1min file and it took 258mb but quality lost and same video i rendered with lumafusion it took 605mb with original quality

I really like capcut because its soooo fast and simple to use, i can make content with way less effort than any of the other video editing software i have tried (vegas, after effects etc)

I agree with that statement! I personally edit with Final Cut Pro and it’s like CapCut and iMovie but more advanced. I definitely recommend getting CapCut for simple easy effort videos though
Capcut is handy with the effects library. Premiere and Resolve are better for everything else.

Capcut is good for fast editing and kids Tiktok or Instagram, but it still lacks full control, and the animation is a bit rough. When I saw an edit, I could tell it was made in Capcut.
I did a client project for £2.8k and I edited it with capcut 😂😂 as long as the client doesn’t know hehe

I have completely switched to capcut pc ....so i just use After effects and Capcut only and it has saved me alot of time and rendering speed is hell fast in capcut
yeah but the reason exporting time is longe is because it isn't using as good of a codec as Premier Pro does
all editing software are best, but if you are a traveler type of person who really loves editing with decent output, Cap Cut is more portable yet powerful, On other side Adobe Premiere is for professionals and for those skilled in editing that you can make it in almost all angles in customizing effects. The software doesn't matter it is your creativity! God bless everyone!

Capcut is for people who are new to editing, software’s like Vegas Pro, premiere pro, davinci resolve and etc can allow you to create something on your own ways because everything there you have to do it manually. It might be a learning curve, but the end of the day its worth it if you put some effort to it and dedication

The good thing about capcut is they understand how we think when we want something. They place it to the right places. the setting, and adjustments are easy to see and the icons are understandable. I use to agree when they say Premier is for serious video editor. Well, now I change my mind.

Bro, first of all, I'm team capcut, it is easier to use and much less time consuming than premiere, I am one of those guys who left premiere and came to capcut, and using capcut really gives me my time's worth. Also p.s (You can upload directly to youtube or tiktok from capcut)

Honestly im sharing my opinion but i think capcut can be maybe equal to premiere Pro when i saw the shakes they were the exact same so is effects but lighter for capcut they both win i see capcut as hard working app because how you have to choose an effects but if you but ae with pr its amazing for capcut you can export it and do what ever you want so the shakes? Exactly the same. Effects? Exactly the same but for capcut is lighter

This is like comparting oranges to apples. The real comparison would be Cap Cut v Adobe Rush. Rush is Adobe's response for social media video editing. Having said this, I tried Rush and it sucks.
You are right but the desktop version of capcut seems to compre pretty well to premiere. Rush is just a watered down platform

The biggest surprise for me using Capcut is how well the software is optimised. The speed of usage is insane. You can pretty much throw any number of effects, transitions and animations on it but the timeline will not lag.

i'm been a video editor for a long time ago and i'm seriusly thinking in change Premier Pro for Cap Cut, because it's not just about your talent it's about that the entreteiment world, the social media needs fast resoults, fast editions. If you have many clients you need a software tha offers to you a real speed work flow. We can still working in premier pro for more professional stuffs like documentals, kind of movies, youtube videos, color grading, etc... well it's just my opinion... Also i'm practice my english so i hope this comment can be understood 😅
I went from Movie Maker to Capcut but for some reason it alters my sound quality so I ended up on Resolve
