@@niuszek2723 I do agree actually! Maybe like a specific shirt or something would be cool to see, but no stat buffs or anything, just a unique piece to show off if you want :)
I discovered a trick to consolidate your inventory. Don't know if it works on the version that came out this week because I haven't upgraded. Many times if you have say 3 med packs in one slot and 4 med kits in another slot, drop both of them at the same time before closing your inv window and they will drop in a sack. Pick them up again and they should appear as 7 med kits in one inv slot! I do this because normally they are not stackable in INV.
Could you test for long-range bullet drop in all three rifle types plus the experimental .50 cal at a firing range? The Generation Zero forum seems to waffle on whether it actually exists or not. And, some are saying it is buggy, where the bullet drop actually *inverts* at some point. Meaning, that if the range is extremely far, you must aim *below* the target. I'm still waiting for my rig (and vacation) next month. Then I can answer some other questions myself. Nice videos!

Just picked this game up for cheap on the PlayStation Store. I’m about 8 hours in and while it’s a bit slow going solo, the map is amazing. Some of the mechanics of the game are clunky but overall I’m really liking it. Thanks for the great video.
Another location that has a pretty good weapon is a small island west of Saltholmsbro, in one of the guard towers if you manage to get into it there is a .50 BMG rifle. Keep in mind this is in the Archipelago region so that is something that will pack quite a punch.
I don't know if this should be a beginner tip or intermediate one, but if you keep emptying your clips all the way down to zero, your player must do the "bolt action" for al your weapons when reloading. But if you leave at least ONE round, you only change your clip without the bolt action thingy. It won't make a whole lot of difference while strolling around but a lifesaver in hostile situations.
That is more on the intermediate scale of things! But a great keynote to improve your fire rate all in all, especially useful for the weapons with a lower magazine size like the Algstudsare and Sjokvist :D
Just got the game last night, I can't wait for it to install to play it fully updated! Played around on it a bit. Think I'll enjoy it more fully up to date.

@@tvdinner8838 you are lucky man when I went there what I encountered was a pack of Apocalypse Runners, Apocalypse Hunters and 2 Apocalypse Tanks. That was the time I found out Apocalypse class enemies also spawn on the main land. 10/10 would die again.
A new tip for anyone else new: the little shooting range outside of Salthamn is now kinda useless. They added a pretty big decal to show weak spots on the runners/dogs. Which would be helpful except you can't actually see bullet impact spots on the target now thanks to it so it's kinda hard to gauge the spread of your new weapon.

One thing I gotta disagree with is saying Inquisitive Mind is essential. If you could level up infinitely or if the cap was at least higher I could say it wouldn't be a bad choice, but those two points could probably be spent somewhere to make a more noticeable impact. My biggest gripe though is that once you're level 31, you essentially have 2 spent perk points that do nothing for you. Which is a problem, especially when you can't respec. I mean, if you don't care about that and just want to level up faster, than sure, go ahead, but I myself already feel a bit tight on remaining perk points to spend to get the build I want. Nice video though, I've been watching them a good amount recently.

Can you balance the audio a bit better? Intro blew out my eardrums, then the rest of the video i could barely hear you. Otherwise, good tips! Just diving into the game and this helped quite a lot
My strategy against packs of dogs is to scout the area for rocks and small sheds since they are easy to flank, try to place one radio gas trap, get as many blown up as possible in one shot, then run around the rocks and sheds using a secondary handgun that shoots very fast to take down the gas canisters on their backs.
Looking back on some older videos I get the feeling that the character in Gen Zero used to move a lot slower than they do now. Which is so fortunate because the game area is so vast with long gaps in between hot spots and built up areas.
Nice tips, thanks man! Note about tip number 4, if you are using the PC version you don't use the bars for inventory. I haven't looked it it myself but if I had to guess it will let you carry more weight
this is legitimately my favorite shooter game of all time, second only two call of duty 2. kinda stuck trying to kill some massive robots, have to avoid them to try and loot some rocket ammo
I was playing on generation zero and made a new character to test what happens when u die after I died I went back to my main character to realise all my inventory and levels had gone so I had to restart but I have already farmed tons today when I happens
2024 and I can proudly say the mullor PP is better than the shotgun early game. I’m currently in the main land and I still use the pistol. I think in this play through I never used the shotgun. It’s also easier to find .32 than 12g that’s also a good reason to use it.
The sooner the better my dude! There are *huge* things on the way you definitely don't want to miss out on! If you do wind up picking up the game and have any questions, feel free to ask them on any one of my vids, i'm always happy to help out!
I need help. I started the game with a friend, he picked up the pump action shotgun in the church in his game and the rifle in tbe hunter house too, when I launch my own game now I find the rifle in the hunter house but the shotgun in the church is gone! Also theres still an icon in the hunters shed saying i need to loot something in there but I already did in his game..like is this just the way the game is?
Does anyone know that you can prone? It's hold B on Xbox; hold circle on playstation; and PC I think it is hold control...? I never knew this for a while. I was joking around saying, "I wish you could prone in this game..." And my friend said, "you can!" So yeah... That's how I found out.
I'm more of the sniper guy cuz I've been practicing sniper range and guess what it paid off I can shoot robots from a hill and hit their gas tanks pretty much often and the shots I shoot wtih the sniper is almost mile or less and they can't spot me cuz I got a scilencer

@@TenebrisInfinite In your defense, also, there are plenty of people who only really want to run and gun. Those are the people who would get in trouble when they didn't loot everything everywhere. Then they blame the game because THEY picked a game that doesn't fit their default playing style and THEY didn't adapt.
Tenebris talking about hitting weak spots: so yeah, throw a flare and hit the gas tank Also tenebris: kills every robot without hitting weak spots once 😂
Great video...been thinking of getting this for a while and as it’s only £25 on Xbox I may try it out...question tho can you max out all skill trees ect??
I can confirmed that at this stage the game running pretty well, smooth 60fps without any bug crash or weird shit that other people complaint about. I think the game is worth the money (ofc wait 4 sale as usual). Btw I'm using SSD so maybe you can encounter some problem if you using HDD to play this game.
Question... got this game last week, and I love it, but loot is REALLY scarce in my game. Latest update has gone through as of the date of this comment, but none of the houses really have shit. Cars either. I'm getting like 6 or 8 bullets/shells at a time and maybe a simple med kit here and there. Nothing like what was shown in this video. Not sure wtf, but this game is hard as hell on my console. I have to renew my online membership, and I've declined the anonymous tracking bullshit everytime it asked... not sure if either of those have anything to do with it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Those have nothing to do with it man, so first you beed to focus on the tech skill tree to get more loot, mechanic and the perk beneath it will open up loot tables. Secondly you need to know where to loot, houses and cars only usually have either backpacks or tool boxes, those dont offer much. You need to seek out military buildings/police and soldier bodies and you'll find much more in terms of ammo. I have videos on all these things though so have a look at my channel to learn more! :D
Toss a flare and run like hell ;D or if you have the ammo to spare, try taking the harvester out from inside the house, it should provide pretty decent cover for you
I'm a beginner. I die a lot. Now I just respawn, go in any direction, run into all types of enemies defend myself, die again and do it over with less ammo and meds...must be missing something.
It's weird watching this one as a player who literally has multiples of the 6 star weapons, and just the fact I haven't seen the old inventory system in a while
Is it possible to kill a tank or harvester in a few shots instead of using half or if not all of your ammo? I have 3 lvl 6 weapons and it still takes so many rounds to kill one. I know the tanks and harvesters have a fuel tank on the back of them but when I destroy them it just hurts them and doesn’t kill them :/ also the 3 lvl 6 weapons is a 12 gauge shot gun, rocket launcher and kaufuge pistol
I actually have a video on how to take down tanks easily, harvesters too but here's the tank video ruclips.net/video/2mzAAsbEge8/видео.html They are designed to require a bit of ammo but when you use the weak points I show you can take them out really quickly and with minimal cost :)
I don't know if you still need an answer but there's a thing with hacker spec. If you hack a tank or harvester just plant shitton of explosives under it and then blow it up. Should be the fastest and longest way to kill it, because of hacking chance to hack a tank.
Ok, so explain to me what mod you have on to be able to find 256 hollow point ammo in just one box!? I started this game on Guerrilla and I’m lucky to find 30 at a time!
regarding it being able to unlock doors, with that skill. I chose that skill quite early in the game, but despite having collected a lot of sticks, have not been able to open a single locked door. what am I doing wrong?
Yeah, that's cool. Hell with realism, I want that loot. Ok, on an unrelated note, I'm now stuck in a shipping container for the 10th time in 5 hours. Really annoying. Any way out besides dying or fast travel?
I think the issue I had with this game was that it tries to create a realistic and creepy environment yet you can literally take on tens of robots easily. It would be much better if they got rid of all the small robots and just had huge robots that you can never beat and are in constant fear of. The focus of the game should be survival and not fighting. I remember playing the starting bit and being so scared because of the unknown. When I encountered the robots I just felt underwhelmed and stopped playing. It would be so much better if you constantly feel hunted by the giant robots and you have to fight other players and animals for equipment and food whilst constantly being persed by the robots you know you have no hope of fighting. A bit like the War Of The Worlds movie.
For somebody sounding kinda experienced in video games, I had my facepalm moment as you tried using a shotgun on that soccer field as a mid range weapon. 🤦🏼 Shotgun are for close combat only, exept you were able to make Fallout 4 kinda modifications on it ti extend the effective range of it. Sorry, had to pause and get this out of my head... thanks for the hunter house tip, though. I thought all houses are shown on the map as squares. So I didn't try to search the upper start area. But now my "search the whole god damn map"-tick is kicking in! I've just finished the church. So I am still in reach of that rifle. Hope your video got a good hint where to find some armor pretty early. Cuz Life drains pretty quick on bullet hits... :-/

My brother found like 5 weapons in the beginning while I only found a pistol xD what a lucky bastard haha :D
Note about tip number 4, if you are using the PC version you don't use the bars for inventory. I haven't looked it it myself but if I had to guess it will let you carry more weight
Carrying capacity is based solely on mass
holy headphone buster on that intro man
this is legitimately my favorite shooter game of all time, second only two call of duty 2. kinda stuck trying to kill some massive robots, have to avoid them to try and loot some rocket ammo
The console interface looks much better the the pc version. Thank you for the tips.
I was playing on generation zero and made a new character to test what happens when u die after I died I went back to my main character to realise all my inventory and levels had gone so I had to restart but I have already farmed tons today when I happens
I like the commentary :D
Oh!!! Thats what the flare is for, ha...I had no idea.
As a Swede, I approv of those dance moves!
Got motion sickness just watching this video 🥴🤢🤮
This game is so cool though, just found out about it a few weeks ago!
Like commented and subscribed 👍
The intro is fire but a bit long otherwise great vid very helpfull
This game is freakn awesome. I can't give it five stars cause the bugs and lags really hurt the game.
I got the game yesterday. No regrets, Even if I'm stuck on the main mission path on the command visslan bunker
2024 and I can proudly say the mullor PP is better than the shotgun early game. I’m currently in the main land and I still use the pistol. I think in this play through I never used the shotgun. It’s also easier to find .32 than 12g that’s also a good reason to use it.
Bruh for 7 and 8 just use a boombox and then leg it, that’s what I do.
I plan to get this game soon
The sooner the better my dude! There are *huge* things on the way you definitely don't want to miss out on! If you do wind up picking up the game and have any questions, feel free to ask them on any one of my vids, i'm always happy to help out!
I need help. I started the game with a friend, he picked up the pump action shotgun in the church in his game and the rifle in tbe hunter house too, when I launch my own game now I find the rifle in the hunter house but the shotgun in the church is gone! Also theres still an icon in the hunters shed saying i need to loot something in there but I already did in his game..like is this just the way the game is?
Thank you
You're welcome man! New update comes out tomorrow! :D
Does anyone know that you can prone? It's hold B on Xbox; hold circle on playstation; and PC I think it is hold control...? I never knew this for a while. I was joking around saying, "I wish you could prone in this game..." And my friend said, "you can!" So yeah... That's how I found out.
What an extra introduction
Can we get a 2024 updated version? A LOT has changed.
i miss the old gz😕
I'm more of the sniper guy cuz I've been practicing sniper range and guess what it paid off I can shoot robots from a hill and hit their gas tanks pretty much often and the shots I shoot wtih the sniper is almost mile or less and they can't spot me cuz I got a scilencer
Sniping is too dope in this game man, getting those awesome long distance kill shots and having the machines be none the wiser for it :D Cheers and thank you for watching!
@@TenebrisInfinite I know right when I play online other players will only give me a pistol but when I find a sniper and get long range shots they will give tons of ammo and silencer and other components I literally have all my skills at lvl 20 each so ya I'm op oh ya nice vids man I liked all of it since you started
Dope to hear man, sounds like you get some solid MP sessions in :D And thenk you kindly my dude! been goin at the content for this game since it released in march, so looking forward to year 2 for generation zero!
@@TenebrisInfinite mee too man and some how those guys who knew about my sniping skills told there friend in other social media I'm like why oh why did they do it I'm more of the lone sniper guy (you tell me when to shoot ill destroy the target) and somehow they know who I was in real life and geez I'm getting invites for gentian zero I had to change my name and other to stop the unlimited invites I just join random games
Same
Basically Unturned, but the zombies are murderous, aluminum puppies. Also, that intro tho... subtle.
Thats a good way of looking at it! :p And for the intro, yea it was a mistake.. i thought i needed a dubstep intro because so many channels use one, luckily in my videos since this one i've corrected it and eventually even gotten rid of it!
Tenebris Infinite I loved the song actually. Couldn’t find it though, at least Shazam didn’t work. Either way though I was complimenting the lack of subtlety.
@@tantrum3575 Oh awesome! I'm glad you did, i worked for like three weeks on it lol And that's because i wrote it myself! I never posted it anywhere and only really used it for my YT project here. Always considered starting a soundcloud or something..
Tenebris Infinite 10/10 would immediately download.
With the cars and blowing them up…does that destroy any gear in the car as well?
"Loot everything, everywhere."
What kind of dummy wouldn't automatically loot everything, everywhere?" LOL
Lol thats a pretty fair point :') in my defense though i was making these tips assuming a person would have no idea at all about this game outside of wanting to buy it! i could have probably dropped that one though :p
@@TenebrisInfinite In your defense, also, there are plenty of people who only really want to run and gun. Those are the people who would get in trouble when they didn't loot everything everywhere. Then they blame the game because THEY picked a game that doesn't fit their default playing style and THEY didn't adapt.
Tenebris talking about hitting weak spots: so yeah, throw a flare and hit the gas tank
Also tenebris: kills every robot without hitting weak spots once 😂
Great video...been thinking of getting this for a while and as it’s only £25 on Xbox I may try it out...question tho can you max out all skill trees ect??
I can confirmed that at this stage the game running pretty well, smooth 60fps without any bug crash or weird shit that other people complaint about. I think the game is worth the money (ofc wait 4 sale as usual).
Btw I'm using SSD so maybe you can encounter some problem if you using HDD to play this game.
Oh you must be awesome then, having a ssd an all
Dude, awesome intro!
Great opening!
Maybe turn down the intro volume you literally deafened me
4.58 Mucked the weak spot right up. Should have hit it with ADS would have been 2 good hits LOL. Always happens when you're doing video I know
Nice plylist
Question... got this game last week, and I love it, but loot is REALLY scarce in my game.
@@TenebrisInfinite Thanks so much. Will do. Thought it was just me, but in a way, I guess it is. Thanks for the info.
I got stuck in a house with a harvester right outside and I need help on how to get out
Toss a flare and run like hell ;D or if you have the ammo to spare, try taking the harvester out from inside the house, it should provide pretty decent cover for you
I'm a beginner. I die a lot. Now I just respawn, go in any direction, run into all types of enemies defend myself, die again and do it over with less ammo and meds...must be missing something.
Did you figure it out?
I actually have a video on how to take down tanks easily, harvesters too but here's the tank video
ruclips.net/video/2mzAAsbEge8/видео.html
They are designed to require a bit of ammo but when you use the weak points I show you can take them out really quickly and with minimal cost :)
I don't know if you still need an answer but there's a thing with hacker spec. If you hack a tank or harvester just plant shitton of explosives under it and then blow it up. Should be the fastest and longest way to kill it, because of hacking chance to hack a tank.
While watching this guide I was on the game at the same time and as I was watching I was staring at a robot on the game 😂
Its ez to take the dogs tank out with the pistol insted of using shotgun
i agree
Absolutely, my thoughts exactly. At least the normal/prototype runners which are the ones you encounter at the beginning.
"enemies have weakspots" ---- proceeds to use shotgun to spray the hell out of it
thanks for tips.
Feels weird not having tene screaming at me at the start of the video
I can't explain what I feel right now. I have trouble reaching for my thoughts.
Why did you do this?
At the naval yard I set out at propane tank, tossed a radio at it and a second later I demolished 8 runners.😂
The part of running away
Its hard lose the hunters and sometimes runners/dogs
You definitely need the run speed perk to effectively get away! That combined with jumping to regain stamina and you can outrun anything in GZ :D
Looks a really interesting game, just litterally purchased it on psn sale island bundle £13.49
If you blow up the vehicle and it has loot inside, does it burn up?
Nope luckily everything remains intact after destroying the car! Though unrealistic, not having the loot go up in flames is a good thing ;D
Yeah, that's cool. Hell with realism, I want that loot.
Ok, on an unrelated note, I'm now stuck in a shipping container for the 10th time in 5 hours. Really annoying. Any way out besides dying or fast travel?
@@YeOldeMachina lol some things you cant get without losing something in return, gen zero in a nutshell
i took down a Tank using the Möller PP with Hollowpoint rounds...i feel like hollowpoint is more effective than FMJ
Intro is a particle accelerator?
Actually some of the the peapole that lived here fled to stockholm or somthing
For somebody sounding kinda experienced in video games, I had my facepalm moment as you tried using a shotgun on that soccer field as a mid range weapon. 🤦🏼
Shotgun are for close combat only, exept you were able to make Fallout 4 kinda modifications on it ti extend the effective range of it. :-/
I really like the trap one
The hunting lodge is given to you as a side mission in the start of the game, not really a tip : /
