Big fan from NYC. Watching and listening to this in August 2023. One of my favorite R&B classics from the ‘80s.
I came across this song when I was 18 years old. Beautiful and sad melody. Every time I listen to this song, I recall that season and bittersweet memories. Thank you for such a wonderful ballad. It still sparkles in my heart.

You were one of the nicest entertainers I've met, and working at a Hotel at Universal Studios, I've met a lot. The Vh1 special Bands Reunited had just aired and we talked about it. I'm glad that you are still performing. Maya Angelou said you may forget what people said, but you will never forget how that made you feel.
