Loved the beat in this song, SO strong and drove the melody along. Her vocals keeping with the deeper register only to soar when she gives the hurt and angry portions (at least that's my take in how it's sung). Love it! Have you reacted to 100 Bandaids yet? Also, have you heard of Alexander Stewart? He has a song called Blame's on Me; Leave Me in the Dark; and I Wish You Cheated (only a lyric video so far) that are quite good. Enjoy!!
This song is quite old by now - but still one of my favorites. It's so different - so powerful - and unlike most Faouzia videos I don't even really feel the need for a "Stripped" version - I'm not sure it could even be better because of how powerful the arrangement is in the video. If you want something else old/different from Faouzia check out "The Sound" - no video, just a lyrics video on RUclips, but it's a duet with Matt Epp. She wrong the song and won a global songwriting contest for it at, I believe, age 15.
