Just a few pointers for the folks who recently bought this. I bought one a few days ago, and some of the stuff that I took some time figuring out was: 1. You have to pull the trigger back quite far to fire when you want to shoot. 2. The safety is quite stiff so make sure when you want to put it on to pull it down all the way, your hammer has to return to its normal position if the safety is active and of course you shouldn't be able to pull the trigger. Hope this helps
The safety catch is also a decocker, ie it lowers the hammer when applied. To take the safety off the stud on the left hand switch must be pushed in WHILE taking the catch off, frankly I feel it needs thumb and forefinger on both switches to do it properly although left thumb pushing in while right trigger finger pushes the right hand side switch off is a possibility too. That back strap feels very fragile so slide it on/off carefully inside it's rails and push down on it so as not to snap the fastener. My pistol is about 30 something rounds max out of a CO2 capsule - about the time it doesn't have enough power to cycle the action and recock the hammer you might as well chuck it rather than risk a pellet stuck in the barrel. Have found mine very fussy about pellets and often the more expensive, heavier pellets get stuck in the plastic mags. In my experience this starts happening after about 10-15 rounds of a CO2 capsule, like the guy in the video says lighter pellets would seem to be the solution. Also not too tight fitting. Just load it very carefully. Despite all that when it works it is very satisying, with some range and power (although not really as much as the box would lead you to believe) and I suppose realistic too.
Hi Would this disable an attacker. My dad has passed away and I will feel.better my mom carrying it. She doesn't want a real gun sadly But something to keep in her purse in Zimbabwe while I'm away Thanks
I took my P09 outta storage once again. One of my favorites. At some point I stripped the whole gun and straightened the aiming so it now shoots straight. Lightened a bit the safety lever's button's spring - way easier now to use the safety. Been shooting Crosmans Match wadcutter pellets with it lately. They sit quite firmly in the magazine and do noin fall out - unlike the cheap domed pellets I used before . Prefer this over the Sig Sauer P226 ASP, though the Sig otherwise feels more sturdy in hand - but this CZ is way nicer to shoot with. Just put an order on an airsoft version of this. :)
@@MrGrahams1 Hi. Did not see a notification of your question. Sorry about the delay.. I just switched the springs to lighter ones. Took a tiny spring off a lighter - if I remember correctly. The axis that goes through the safety levers has a fork shape to it at the screw end on the right side. I pressed the fork shape a bit tighter together. Now the safety switches on both sides sit firmly on place and the de-cocker works on both sides. Doing this also caused the axis to be a tiny bit longer, and the safety levers are a bit more further apart from another. Which resulted the springs to work a bit lighter also. My safety now works much more lightly and the small button on the left do not need much toughing. The safety works easily with the right hand thumb now. I hope this is understandable and you got my explanation. It is just mostly to hit out all of the pins and take it apart. But beware of the small springs behind the left side safety lever. The small button's spring and it's aluminium cap can be (and shoukd be) removed before taking the internals out from the lower receiver. The spring behind the ballpoint will come out while removing tve internal, so be very careful with that. I have lost those around the room a few times.
I think this one is fun to shoot. Like the mags. Snappy blowback. Mine shoots about 5 mags with one co2 capsule. As negatives on this one: Feels more like a toy in comparison to the P-07 BB shooter that I have - the P-07 seems sturdier and heavier in hand. The pin on the safety/decocker is annoying. Should be an accurate pellet pistol - but the barrel is not mounted sturdy enough, so it shoots way too large groups on target.
You do a video then 8 years later … So I received my P 09 recently, worked ok & then it didn’t. One misfire & then another & I’m pulling the mag out with a screwdriver to get the damaged pellets out. Got the rogue pellets out and now nothing! Misfires every time. Bought 2 new mags, wasn’t that, but gun won’t fire, any thoughts? Next step I guess, get some BB’s to see if they work.
You Must fully release the trigger on mine or You may end up shooting CO2 and no pellet/ BB though, Iv'e never tried BBs but I think its to do with the way the mag operates not the ammo ,either way You just waste gas , It takes a bit of getting used too but it is good clean fun for tin can bashing . had it a while now and the safety is easy to set but difficult to release and virtually impossible single handed , but I suppose its good if any Kids managed to get hold of it ,Mine always wears a trigger lock and gets locked away safe when not in use .
Hey Racknload, I was wondering in your opinion which one you think is better, this one or the new Seg Sauer P226 pellet gun? Also, which one has better accuracy. I'm planning to purchase a pellet pistol, I just don't know which one to get. Accuracy is more important to me. Any recommendation?
Harvz B I had accuracy issues with both the P226 and this CZ P-09. The barrels should be well attached in the pistol, but may surely not be. My P226 shot unacceptably way too low. Had to fix it with an additional screw. Today I noticed that this CZ also has a loose barrel. Took off the slide just to find out that this one might need way more work if wanted to fix the loose barrel. Will open it someday - but it may need a well cleaned environment. Never disassembled an CZ so I guess small springs and other surprises might come up.

No it won't, its a bb gun meant for airsoft games. Better get a real firearm, or less lethal a pepper spray/tazer?@@southernafricanboy4148
@6.47 its called a decocker when on some pistols, you manipulate the safety and it drops the hammer

Do you still have it and have you had any problems?
Never did get a answer did you.

In the backyard? backgarden ? this is airsoft not a kiddies gun.
Michael Madsen This is not Airsoft and does not come under UKARA in the UK. Airsoft guns fire plastic 6mm BB not 4.5mm steel.
oh jebus... lol :)
