GREAT location but TERRIBLE location | Alexandre Hote Gala Tenerife Playa De Las Americas

- We had one night stay in the Hotel Gala Playa De Las Americas Tenerife. A great hotel perfectly located if you want to be in the thick of it and staggering distance from Veronicas but that meant at night it was super noisy. We enjoyed our stay but don't expect a lot of sleep.
The Alexandre Hotel Gala is a 4-star hotel in Playa De Las Americas Tenerife whilst everything was modern and clean the Alexandre Hotel Gala let themselves down on food which was just OK
My daughter and her partner stayed there last August and they did not rate the food and ended up eating out every day. Some of the staff were not friendly to them either. My daughter then came away a month later to the Hotel Troya with myself and rated the food and hotel much better. Thanks for posting have watched many of your vlogs and they are excellent. I will be in Lanzarote in two days, happy days. I am staying in PDC this trip, stayed Coste Teguise last year. Have yet to try Playa Blanca. Keep up the good work.

We went there about year and a half ago, actually looks like the same room from your view of Veronica’s. The noise was all night but didn’t seem to bother our 3 year old at the time. Loved the hotel though. When you compare to 4* hotels in mainland Spain this is much cleaner and overall aesthetically impressive, food is average, but it’s so close to restaurants who cares, only buy all inclusive for the drinks. Looking at going there again this November but Need to compare to the other local places. Do you know what Troya is like or the other one?

I stayed their twice this year it was fine good rooms but definitely noisey

I love sprouts and would definitely eat them for brekkies. Never heard of it before. Maybe they are popular with the all nighters with the munchies.

In room 541 now once the patio door is closed you can not hear Veronica's. Not sure about food only had a few but I think your right.

Stayed here last year as a family, room was pretty quiet to be fair (we were on the side facing the Troya).
Thought the hotel was quite good in all, food looked worse on the video than I remember from last year except for the nasty sausages, they were the same!
That said a lot of people are saying food in general at 4* hotels across all the spanish islands seems to have gone down hill this year - we went to Lanzarote this year and the food wasn't that great either to be fair.
Main things that bugged us about this hotel was the constant queues for the bars both pool bar during the day and evening bar.
There was nowhere quiet you could sit and get away from the noise of the entertainment in the evening, speakers blasting out both inside and out.

We are planning to come back to PDLA next year as I really didn't like Lanzarote in comparison, weighing up nice hotels that would be suitable for my 3 year old, and at the mo toying with the idea of here again or Bitacora... unless theres something better worth looking at.
Nice one Ollie the hotel was great food was the only thing letting it down. I agree a lot of hotels offer really bad food sometimes it is hit and miss. Tenerife or Lanzarote its a big debate Im torn I love Tenerife but only for a visit

Hi Dave i guess the vegetables are there for veggies as i found out one time in a restaurant i asked do you do vegetarian breakfast and was served vegetables with beans & egg!!

It's my first time In Tenerife in just under 3 weeks time. Staying at the Arona Gran - Los Cristianos...getting old now and wanted the quiet side!😛
The place is amazing I did a walk around video showing the roof terrace if you havent seen it

Stayed there myself in 2017, food was the same and also the noise. At breakfast they served tomatoes with brown sugar on! like you I wanted to know who requested that item 😂

stayed there last year for a week the food was awful but always had a good nights sleep maybe because we always went out for a few beers and was located at the front of the hotel i would stay again but only on a room only

I would never stay there agen they work me up trying to kick me out because thay thought it was my last day and they wanted me out the and would not dobble check just wanted me gone. Thay soon rang the traval agent when i went the recption in my boxers and made a fuss. Thay did not even say sorry. And the air con was the worst i have ever had they recon it was ok trust me is was not might of well not been there better of with just a fan wich i had to buy at a local shop. I had a much better stay in the sol over the road aircon was lovely and food was good

Room looked okay the only thing is the bath not suitable for disabled go to Turkey dave you normally get sprouts don't think I would class as 4 star 😮❤

Seemed like a decent hotel but too near Veronica's strip with that awful thumping music, would probably stay near golden mile or los cris, cheers Dave ,

As soon as you got to the food I stopped watch8ng your video. Being a Chef of 34 years that food looks terrible.
