As a Clare fan, I think Wexford are getting a wee bit disrespected by the media

So far Conor Leen looks like a find for Clare but the acid test will be against Kilkenny.

Can Kelly become the new Brian Whelan?
    I think so.

Limerick zonal mark which Kinerk has brought to Limerick. Most people view this form of defence like the Clare footballers use as being fraught with danger and in many cases it is but Limerick hurlers almost always win the posession when they get numbers into a zone while others don't. If one looks back at the Clare Limerick Munster final they would ask themselves why was Clare constantly dropping ball down on Shane O Donnell and three players around him?, did the rest of the the Clare forwards die or something?
If Limerick or any team Commits three backs to one forward then there must be gaps elsewhere?.

Clare will hammer kilkenny and limerick will do the same to cork both of them no good easy wins for clare and limerick

      @@michaelcoady828 Seriously?
With Diarmuid Ryan at wing back marking no one and jogging up the field before driving the ball either to the corner flag or into the oppositions hands in between getting a point now and again?
With John Conlon at centre half back not being able to break the tackle and turning back to a scared corner back and goalie?
Duggan needs to go to midfield and Tony Kelly to wingback with Mcinerney comming into centre half back and Conlon given a run on the other wing back position. Diarmuid Ryan can be tried out at wing forward where he will be closer to goal. Bieber needs to come out to the half forward line when they cannot get ball into him in the fullforward line. Rogers needs to step up 3 food at centre forward and Ryan Taylor needs to come back into the corner forward while being allowed to roam out to midfield. If Cian Galvin could take the wingback position it would allowed Conlon up to the other corner forward position.
The Clare goalie is not playing good enough to beat either Kilkenny or Limerick.

Ryan Taylor needs to come back.

The Clare halfback line in it's current form are not good enough to win an all Ireland. Mcinerney is more a centre half back and and they need Tony Kelly and Conlon on the two wing back positions. Kelly is well capable of scoring from wing back and is Clares best player to disposses an opposition forward. Can Galvin and Conor Leen look promising though. Duggan needs to move to midfield as Clare are contesting nothing there.

Limericks game is to draw the opposition into the tackle like rugby and then win the ball and break out quickly thus creating gaps and overlapping opportunities for themselves. Most opposition teams fall for this Kinnerk tactic time and time again.
Are Limerick good and winning the ball in the scrumb? YES THEY ARE.

      Greatest team I've seen.
      Superb players.
      Smartest in game team ever.
      They can beat you anyway.
      Incredible

John Conlon cannot break the tackle and is too hesistent when in posession, almost over thinking the game so is not the best choice for centre half back but his ball skills along with Kelly may be valuable on the wing back positions. Kelly cannot afford to drink out of games for a half an hour either and cannot afford to be messing around with Buttler of Kilkenny even if it excites Joanne Cantwell.
Kelly needs to get away from Buttler and a wing back would accomplish this.

No Shane O Donnell needs to be brought out to wing forward when not getting enough good early supply inside. Why?, because his ability to win ball right on the sideline and dribbling skills will terrify any wing back. Should Shane O Donnell have come out against Limerick earlier? YES
But not to centre forward as Limerick like to force the opposition down the centre and bottle them up like rugby. Limerick need to be stretched wide but the ball needs to be moved faster against them. Cork made the mistake a few years ago of trying to run the ball wide against Limerick but held on to the ball too long and Limerick crowded their runners. Keep the ball moving against Limerick and let the ball do the work by changing wings on attack. Malone and Duggan play into Limericks narative by being too stagnent.
