I think he's using an effects pedel, I'm not sure which effect he's using. You can buy an effects pedel from amazon. They make your guitar sound really smooth like this guys, obviously you need to put in the hours to be this clean. Hope you carry on with playing guitar dude!
A cheapish way to explore guitar tones is to get a effects processing program for your computer like Bias FX, and a USB audio interface. A focusrite scarlett solo is about 100 USD new and bias fx starts at 49 dollars.
It doesn't sound like he has any effects honestly, maybe a reverb pedal but it sounds mostly like it's just the neck pickup. Neck pickups on strats sound absolutely beautiful even when they're dry.
