Copyright enforcement is done at the discretion of the copyright holder, and most companies really don't see any point in bothering to pursue most streamers and RUclipsrs, it earns them nothing and just gets them a ton of bad press. But Hololive vtubers work for a large company that actively profits quite a lot from their streams, so the legalities get a lot stricter.
@@ChaosDraguss Well there was the melt down that happened to them once where some game company went out copy strike their video. Hololive staff reacted terribly and caused tons of videos to be lost/deleted. But basically after that they became super cautious and basically get permission for any game before they start streaming it.
Gura's walk is so menacing and enchanting while it also emits a super smug aura, like seeing that little kid just trying to copy a cool walk from an anime. Or Dante, maybe just Dante.
I like how Calli was made imposing by using her stature, sword, and general elegance in fighting style. And that Gura was made imposing by giving her a gun.

I like how the one who is fairly fluent in Japanese does all the English lyrics and the one who doesn't really speak Japanese at all does all the Japanese lyrics.
@@pasturple5662 The question is not for a musician if he speaks the language but if he/she feels "at home" singing in it. Many artists sing in other languages, starting from opera, where you have russians singing fluent italian, over to pop songs, where in Germany you are not taken seriously when you sing your radio pop song in German most times, up to Japan, where singing english parts in the songs is common for japanese songs. The USA is the only country, where you have a music scene that dominantly sings in their own language :D

In the main fight sequence between Calli and Gura, I love how Gura slowly stops smiling as the fight progresses. Such a nice detail to show how she's probably frustrated she can't land a hit
I absolutely adore the DMC choice of weapons Calli as Vergil and Gura as Dante it fits them so much also the song is an absolute banger wish I found it earlier but better late than never goes straight to my playlist. Amazing job!

I like how Calli brings a sword to a gun fight against Gura, who is actually using guns. And yet, she manages to deflect the bullets while they're moving around. Truly portrays her powers and capabilities as a Grim Reaper
It's a curious thing. The fact that Calli's going toe to toe with someone using a ranged weapon while using a melee weapon herself and the fact that on paper, Gura should've been at a disadvantage as soon as Calli closed the gap but the both of them still end up going at each other on equal footing is badass.

In Japanese they don't distinguish between l and r. So you get weird stuff like Holo being Horo sometimes in translations. In Japanese they are spelt the same but can be pronouced both ways.

What I really like in the MV is that they have Calli and her Deadbeats are dressed up as a Bansho, while Gura and her Shrimps are set up as a Yanki. For those of you who don't know about the differences in types of delinquents in Japanese history: Bansho are, like Miss Mori, calm cool and collected while also trying to remain stoic and seem unemotional but still caring deeply about people around them (for delinquents). Meanwhile, we have Gura, the Yankee, who is far more open about herself and her feelings while also having some sore spots, allowing others to see how she's angry or sad or even happy. Edit: Apparently it's spelled Yanki and not Yankee. Makes sense but I only ever heard it.
Last I checked, Calli was far more comfortable with her Japanese than Gura was, but Gura seems to be singing on almost all of the Japanese parts, and Calli has the English. There's no problem with this, I just find it amusing. Excellent work Calli and Gura. You both killed it.
IIRC Gura's been singing in Japanese for way longer then she's been learning to speak it. I think she would just sing anime intros and stuff so much she got used to it before she learned what any of the words actually meant.

Calliope and Gura are such a dynamic duo, I'd love to see more collabs between them! God this song is an absolute banger, and the visuals are positively astounding. I especially adore their outfits and the kickass fight scenes. Seeing the Dead Beats and Shrimps personified is pure perfection, and angy Gura is just the cherry on top. We need a Hololive anime STAT, I'd watch the hell outta that!

The USA is the only country, where you have a music scene that dominantly sings in their own language :D

Last I checked, Calli was far more comfortable with her Japanese than Gura was, but Gura seems to be singing on almost all of the Japanese parts, and Calli has the English. There's no problem with this, I just find it amusing.
Excellent work Calli and Gura. You both killed it.
Gura knows far less Japanese than Calli but her pronunciation is much better for some reason

IIRC Gura's been singing in Japanese for way longer then she's been learning to speak it. I think she would just sing anime intros and stuff so much she got used to it before she learned what any of the words actually meant.

Calliope and Gura are such a dynamic duo, I'd love to see more collabs between them! God this song is an absolute banger, and the visuals are positively astounding. I especially adore their outfits and the kickass fight scenes. Seeing the Dead Beats and Shrimps personified is pure perfection, and angy Gura is just the cherry on top. We need a Hololive anime STAT, I'd watch the hell outta that!

Probably because it was, to an extent, the idea behind it? Dunno. Pretty obvious, aside from it's red Vergil and blue Dante, basically. As Vergil doesn't use guns, while Dante is more known for his showoffs with guns, instead of Rebellion.
