A quick video showing how you can connect a regular garden hose to indoor kitchen or sink faucet. Carrying water jar several times to water plants can be very frustrating so this small step can save lot of time while allowing you to grow small garden in you balcony or patio.

My favourite part was the bird just randomly coming to chill on the counter while the screen door was wide open and she could’ve easily flown away lol 😂 too cute!
Not random at all, the bird was clearly looking for some fresh water.
Way to cling to one word used and miss the point of the entire message 🫤🙄 you seem like a lot of fun !
Surprisingly, your video was the only one I found that showed the step-by-step of this process. And your explanation was very clear. Thanks!
Lol
Why is that a surprise 😄😮
I was wanting to know if the water needed to be turned off at mains which would be a lot of messing around because not sure for one where it is, probably under the sink so this was good to know that I don't need too
The bird was so cute!
Had to watch again because the bird is so cute. Great info thanks.
ok this was so helpful and simple. thank you for making it easy for me to get the parts and install.
😂😂😂😂 inquisitive, little birdy STOLE THE SHOW!🎉🎉
Thank you so much! I got tired of carrying buckets on the porch to fill the baby pool. Love your bird too!
Thank you so much for explaining it the right way and very clear!! Don't worry about people complaining that the video is too long(3:13)... they watch other uneducational things longer and don't complain. Also thanks for explaining the hoses i would've purchased the extending one if you wouldn't of made your point about it leaking as you turned it off...😊
Thanks for the feedback...when I was looking to setup my hose last year I couldn't find any video that will answer my exact problem so I had to experiment lot of option, then thought to create this video to help others :)
Awesome. I have a balcony facing the street that gets very dirty. This will help. Thank you
Thank you so much for this! So helpful for my balcony gardening this summer!
That's how I started researching when I started patio gardening ... glad this helped you!
Great video! I just bought my son a pool and I needed to get my water to the yard from my kitchen. This seems pretty common because I bought the last one. The couplers were all gone at Walmart and Loews and luckily I found it at Home Depot.😅Thank you so much!!!
Glad it helped...I also got from Home Depot...
Very helpful, thank you! And great tip about not using an expandable hose for this purpose.
great explanation and I loved the curious little bird who came to check on your work!!
I loved this, this actually helped me allot when trying to put it onto my sink and then filling up my puppy pool for my puppy
me too i never reliase how trying this would turn out to be
I loved this video & it didn’t seem long. I really enjoyed with the birdie also
2:20 I want to be the star of this video.....
Thank you for all your information and guide going to the store tomorrow
Hi thank you so much for sharing that video with us I went looking at Canadian Tire yesterday I got a 25 ft garden hose but it would not connect with my kitchen tap I was just wondering to myself what the heck do I do now your video was very good information I thank you so much for sharing with us have a bless I'm wonderful week 🙏♥️
Helpful video and the bird was an added bonus 🤣
I am SO glad you did this video! I almost bought that first hose!!!!
Awww hi little birdy :) you were unexpected!
Nice video, it's so useful to have an adapter for outdoor hose (no annoying water can anymore) ... I've got a Tap Adaptor for Indoor Taps from Gardena and it works quite good. Thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks. I was looking all over the place for this. for my water changer to my fish aquarium.
Thanks for your post. Just what I needed ☺️
Thank you for your leadership. Perfect!
I was hoping to find a video about this subject and luckily found your video. Thanks a lot for taking the time for making it , high quality made in all aspects. Love the bird lol.
Good video and I love your beautiful bird seen at the sink.
Your bird is so fun!!🌿🌸
I was about to spend 20 dollars on the expandable hose because I thought it would work better for us in the tiny apartment.... it never crossed my mind that it will shrink when the pressure is off. Thank you!
glad it helped... thanks 😊!
Solved my problem thank you. My kitchen was flooded before
Your video helped me out tremendously today with my purchase of the types of both a good adapter and hose.. Thanks!
Worked like a charm! Thank you for sharing helped me and son!!
Good information, good job my friend
This is what I needed. Thanks a lot.
AWWWWW your bird!! Thank you for the video by the way
Fantastic and informative vid!
The bird stole the show! Thanks the video! About 2 and half minutes too long but it helped. :)
Brilliant!! Thank you for sharing. Also.. I love your bird❤️
This helped me sooo much. Thanks.!! 🙏
this is bloody brilliant and loved the bird too :)
I live in a single story apartment and I wanna save a ton of money on washing my car. This is gonna help
thank you!
Thanks for the tip nice👌
Thanks good video. Now I got to buy an adapter… why cant these hose companies just add that. Its like Apple learnt this trick from hose companies…change the usb to non standard and people will buy adapters.
But really glad you explained this. 👍🏼👍🏼
yes... unnecessarily comicating life 😂
Thank you for the step by step!!
I clicked a LIKE just for the curious parrot! lol :)
she is super curious... doesn't let me do any work lol
@@007rockford Tell me about it! lol I have two small parrots and two pet ducks! She's cute!
great video! but I'm here just for the bird! hahaha
Omg thank you for this video you saved my life ❤️
Thank you so much🙏!!! This is what I was looking for!!!❤
Very helpful
Wow God Bless Thanks Your so Smart
The bird😹❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much that was great! Very helpful...
thanks so much!
Thanks for all your comments and suggestions and I am sorry if the video was too long for the subject. Honestly I didn't expect this many people will watch this video so just casually made it or else would have made it more precisely to the point :) !
your video was a lot of help, thank you !!!
Where did you buy this adapter and what is the name to it?
@@josed3449 I got it from Home Depot... I shared a link to get from Amazon
Your the best
Excellent!
Thanks...dude and my plants thank you too buddy
Thank you, but what sizes are the adapter ends, in inches? 3/4 maybe, 1/2" maybe?
Avi, I just get a regular garden hose? But not the flex expandable one? Thanks for your video.😋
awesome!! thanx for the tip!!
This is exactly the opposite of what im looking for, but good video none the less.
Thank you SOOO much!!!
His love bird is supervising, as love birds do ♡( ◡‿◡ )
The random bird!!
Fill your sink with water, put one end of the hose in,no adapter needed.siphon water from the other end and you will have water through a hose flowing, great for filling pools when adapters don't fit.
only downside is there won't be any water pressure so if u need to push the water higher than floor level it will be difficult..
So helpful thank u so much 💓
I love the bird🌸
Thank you so much but the force of the water coming out of the faucet my question is does it push the piece off and then you've got water all over the floor because the hose will fall this is a question?
And thank you so much for this video I have this exact problem I'm going out of my mind.
it shouldn't fall even with water pressure...if the adapter is fixed correctly... what is falling down?
Nice bird! lol!
Great video, Abhi. Do you have a link for that connector?
thanks.....yeah, the link should be in the description
Who was that on your counter?
Very cute. ❤
that's our pet sunny 🐦
Suddenly: A bird. :)
What's the long term review? Is this successful in long run? My biggest fear is that the hose will drip all over the carpet area
great help, thanks
Great video, but my kitchen faucet has outside threads. This one doesn't seem like it would work so what do you recommend.
Great video.but is the part callèd I need to buy to connect to the kitchen tap
it's called coupler, u can find at home Depot or amazon
Thank you !!!
Are all kitchen faucets the same size when it comes to installing an adapter?
Faucet size may vary, some will have screw inside some outside, based on that there are generally two types of faucet adapters..
@@007rockford would this work with a pressure washer? XD
Thank you!!! xo
thanks
Can I fit the aerator inside the connector/coupler ? WIthout the aerator during normal usage water will splash around, and aerators also help in conserving water.
I wanted to do the same, but unfortunately could not use the existing aerator to the adapter as the mouth of the adapter is totally different looking. Another option was to use the 'Y' splitter to split the head of faucet in two branches, 1 holding the coupler another holding regular aerator, but the tap will look crazy nevertheless.. :)
Was that a bird, so cute
yep, my pet parrot... 🕊️
Also how did you find out that which adapter size will fit your sink faucet?
kind of standard size, I took the aeretor part to home Depot to match it out... 15/16" or 13/15"
Could you give a link so that we can buy the adapter from Amazon?
There should be a link in the description of the video
Great for if there is ever a fire in the house
What about if you have a Pur filter, will it fit without removing the adapter?
I don't think so, the pur mount is designed to fit directly to the tap with smaller screw thread, whereas the other end of the adapter has larger thread for hose
Hey, what's the brand and color of your wood floors?? I'm looking for the exact same look!
oops it was an apartment I used to live...not sure what they used
Been looking for this for ages. What is the exact coupler thanks
you can get it in home Depot ir thru the link in Amazon...
Have you the link to Amazon pleae
Is nobody going to mention the bird? Lol
Is there a way to connect it directly to the supply line down below? If you don't have a threaded faucet nozzle? (mine is a spray type faucet)
yes you can and that is easier, you just need a T splitter, much cheaper.
Will the adapter fit on any kitchen tap?
check the tap if there is a part that can be taken out, for fancy taps you may not be able to do that as the end piece will be non removable.
Do you know if it works, if you put a pressure spray gun on the other end of the hose?
depends on the pressure of your water connection, you can use regular spray gun and one of the mode ejects narrow beam with high pressure.
What exactly is the adapter called? Do you have a brand name or item #? Home Depot sold me 2 adapters to connect together, but the one for the faucet is wrong. GRRRRRRR!
Hi..plz check the Amazon link I shared in the description of the video... its same what I got from Home Depot.... finding the perfect match can be tricky!
For jaguar tap...it doesnt fit
Can I attach hose from my washing machine faucet.
you should be able to but the mount may be different...
Mine does not come undone. No matter how or hard I turn it. It doesn't come off.
may be it is fixed part with the tap?
Did you have any leaking / spraying out of water at the sink?
never... make sure you have the rubber washer in right place...
@@007rockford thanks very much
I need one of these. Please. What is the brand name of the kit?
Hi...check the link in comment section...
You could adapt this and make a budget bidet in you bath room.
You can, but then I found it will be more hassle as these days there are many cheap bidet options as well :)
I worked this out a year ago.. but thanks anyway
