@@thomashubbard5861 real time just means that you don't have to reload an area to see progress. If you can see for example a plant grow in a video game, no matter how slow or fast it is it is real time. If you go away, unload the area, come back and reload it and only then something has happened, it is not real time. I hope this made it clear
InaneBlatherskite same lol. When a game even implicitly tells a player to do something, it's not exactly a secret. But it is interesting the plants grow in real time. I just thought they grew after you left the room.
The snail thing isn't there the first time you encounter these flowers, though. They're in Sand Kingdom a long time before you go to Seaside Kingdom, where you can't water them. The ONLY way to get them to grow in Sand Kingdom is to just wait, so lots of players are going to arrive in Seaside Kingdom and just do what they did the first time around. So while it's not a "secret", it IS a thing that a fair number of players won't think to do.
I love the cool things they do with the music like the torches being in sync with the music, and the fact that the powerline sound effect syncs with the music when captured!
I thought the timer was 15 mins, not 21 mins for the seed, I didn't know the torches beat to the music, I didn't know about ground pounding to clean the clothes, I didn't know about resetting the timer on the cloud blocks, I didn't know about the goomba stomping, I didn't know the quote was a reference, I didn't know about Bowser breathing fire by holding Y, everything else I knew
I managed to trigger cappys compliment in gormet kingdom whilst doing an incredibly complex series of wall bounces and cap throws that ended in a vertical throw onto a fork, it felt well earned.

Ironically, I had no idea that the plants grew on their own so I instantly got the gushen when the bubble snail said “Plants need water to grow”
The snail dude gives you a hint to that in the seaside kingdom

I think its talking about landing then spraying since that seemed somewhat faster than going above then spraying.
