R2 remembers 'Darth Vader' all right, he was running away as far as the hut allowed. Nice R2 replica, albeit smaller, I'm impressed with the look, sounds, and lights. It's a cool robot despite the learning curve.
I still have one of these in the box. Didn't realize they came out so long ago. My other one has yellowed over the years. They were pretty innovative for their day. Still pretty good now!
This was one of my favorite robots when I had it. I don’t remember if the instructions said it or not, but there is a vibration sensor in the head. To make him stop whatever he’s doing, just slap his head. Yes, it sounds weird, but that’s actually what you have to do.
My favorite command was getting him to remember Darth Vader Also he has a little cup holder I mean what else do you need 🤣
I’m impressed with how well it functions. It’s a pretty convincing replica.
Great voice activated R2D2 robot
Wanted one ☝🏻 back then .. too complicated as I see ..pretty cool 😎 👍🏻 thanks John .
