Living and working in Los Angeles is draining. It's like everyone is screaming at you: Screaming for your attention, your time, your money. Sometimes you just have to close your eyes and breathe just to drown out the noise. It's crazy how loud the world can be.
A couple years ago, I was sitting in the Emergency Room because I was really sick. Let me tell you, the hospital is a noisy place. My eyes were closed so tight that my nose wrinkled up and I was taking deep breathes like I was at core power yoga. The doctor came in. "You have Leukemia." Everything went silent. I slowly opened my eyes but the world was completely pitch-black. I could have waved my hand right in front of my face and not been able to see it. I was terrified. I've always been scared of the dark and this was definitely the cherry on top. But I had to take a second to remind myself: When everything goes dark, you're able to see even the slightest glimmer of light.

Me too. At first I was just fascinated with the choreography, the lights, and I was immersed in the video itself, then at some point I started tearing up a little bit because the more I watched the more emotional I was becoming, but damn it, it was just so beautiful.

no matter how many times i see this choreography, i'll never find the words to describe how beautiful, touching and meaningfull it is to me. The first time I saw I was in the end of a relationship and I really felt it every word, note, spin and step that I saw and heard. PURE ARTISTRY. Kyle, your choreography and overall artistic vision is stunning. Leroy, your voice is enchanting, haunting, and beautiful. The dancers were other-wordly and their talent is flooring. And Tim, your videos are always top-notch. I cannot even begin to imagine the hard work, thought, love and countless hours went into this one piece. Thank you for sharing this with the world. NiceDrivewayy since watching this summer, I see Evan all over RUclips. He's amazing. They put him in a box with the tap label. He's got such an amazing range of dance. His lines & his intention when he dances is breathtaking. Michael from WOD s2 was amazing in this piece as well. He should have won the million this summer. He was robbed. I keep seeing Evan and Michael in dance videos together, I love it. Their talent blows me away each time I watch.

The way that they used the lights to express so much emotion along with the formations, timing and their facial expressions was so beautiful (i dont even think beautiful is good enough to describe it)
Yet again kyle hanagami manages to mesmerize me and keep me completely captivated with his choreography and dancers to a point where im disappointed when the choreography ends....i never want it to end
Not just because its a collaboration between my two favorite artists Leroy Sanchez and you. I am not a dancer nor do i deign to understand it. But i cannot fathom the amount of emotion that went into this choreography. Even i could feel the emotion behind it. Its just so raw. Makes you feel every part, every step, every word of the song and the dance. I cannot even imagine how you could pull this off. But this is pure art. I wanna say this production has a special meaning to those that have no rules. Because they're able to see what you cannot redefines what it means to be alive and breathing in every second of this video. Regardless of what the dancers hear around them like so many have said before me i think its up to the special audience who has a focus for this sort of thing.

I have been watching this over and over again since it came out and it's crazy that each time i watch it. i find something new that captivates me more and more. i wish i could have been in that rehearsal to just feel the energy radiating from each of those dancers.
