If it's thousands its probably because it's full silicone not because it's limited edition. Silicone is just more expensive material and in my opinionharder to work with.

You can get vinyl to they are not squishy but are still great and are cheaper. Please if you buy one be carful as body parts can fall of and please don’t put your reborn in water or get it wet it will ruin your doll. They wear real baby clothes but make sure to check the size of your doll . Anyways hope this information helps

I saw little girl holding one while I was pushing my REAL baby sister on the swings, she placed that baby in there so aggressively I literally gasped and looked away. it's head was hanging out of the swing and babies heads need to be supported or their necks will break. finally I just felt horrible so I asked if it was a real baby (bc if it was I would need to call someone for help) and she said no.. which thankfully explained why the baby wasn't moving 😭
