The shelves look great! The whites and clear glass with the blue keep it airy and uncluttered looking. The paint color also is a great choice! You have a knack, girl! Thanks for sharing! REST please!
Decorating shelves...are they ever done ? LOL!!! Yup...leave the room, come back, rearrange again... I did some of mine today! So it is very fresh in my mind! I still have my cedar sprays out . With all of our nor’easter snow still falling... I love the feeling of “ greenery, stoneware, candle and iced sprigs”... it still fits our 2 more months of winter and soothes the soul! Your boys are so cute peeking at the camera! Great tips Andrea. I call it the triangle rule or like you stated the “X” rule for balance. They look wonderful and love the glass pitchers! Have a blessed week 🙏❄️❄️❄️
🌿Hello Andrea,🌿 Yes, Yes, Yes ... I can relate ! Just watching you organize your shelves is exactly what I go through.👍🏻 Standing back , Leaving the room, Balancing the look,...Yes all the above ! However one thing is for sure ...... it's so much fun and rewarding.👍🏻 Do take care and you look great....Thank you for sharing your decorating skills.🙋🏼🇨🇦
So wonderful to see you. Hope you are feeling better each day and that the pregnancy goes well. Praying for you and baby to be strong, healthy and happy.
Crisp clean beautiful!!! We have painted a lot of our main walls white... Just like you my dear!!such a lovely home you have!!!i agree with your thinking !!!
This was fun to see how you picked where to place items. Great tip to be very selective, things have a way of multiplying quickly. I have the hardest time trying to figure out what to get rid of. By the way I really enjoyed your mom’s blog you posted. I have not had time to go to her new blog to check some of her other writings, but I plan to. I am so happy you are feeling full of energy and got your room painted. That’s a lot to do with three little ones and another on the way. What a blessing your husband is. Glad you had help.
Love to see the Currier & Ives! I have my mother’s original set from the 1950’s. I have added to them over the years. They are our every day dishes. They have always been my vintage favorite!
Since adding the brighter colour above, your wainscotting looks like a beautiful duck egg blue. Maybe it's the effect of the camera but I'm loving it. 💙 Thank you for the lovely tips
I love how you stage things together. I used your Christmas video to help me arrange thrifted items for Christmas. I loved staging my china cabinet to look pretty instead of just looking like dish storage. A string of fairy lights polished it off to look magical. You must be nesting for the new baby. ❤️
Love everything!!! You sound out of breath. Lots of rest rest rest. I was out of breath when I was pregnant with my 2 month old and I found that warm milk and ginger tea really helped me before bed. God Bless you and your family. Your home is immaculately humbling. Want those shelves in my kitchen.
Like you, it takes me a long time to decorate my shelves. I’ll think I’m done, walk out of the room, walk back in and then I’ll move items around, again! I always try to incorporate greenery, too.
Andrea, Hi from Arizona 🙋🏻♀️ ... thank you for all of your tips! If you’re up to it, please take us along on your next “Treasure Hunting/ Thrifting” trip! 👩🏻🍳🤗
Andrea, I have always admired how you style your shelves. I have tried to use your style technique in mine through the past. I love how your shelves have always seemed so balanced... so it always looks perfect to me. Thanks for the tips. Love your brightened up dining room.
Andrea....the shelves look amazing! I have to say, Mommy is looking fantastic! Pregnancy certainly agrees with you!!!! When are you going to show us the bump, instead of pulling your sweater together. Be proud of the beauty of having a sweet baby on board! You definitely have the glow! Take care and be safe.
The new paint color is very nice. I think that is what I'm going to use for the walls in our fixer upper cottage. Also I can't remember, did you do a video on building the shelves? That is what I would like to do at our cottage as well. You styled them very well!
Very good explanation of balance, grouping, etc. And the tiny bit of green is the perfect final touch. Those RR train engine cups are a unusual. Are they from RR train dining cars? Our son has my Mom's white Pfaltzsgraff. I love its weight and angular style. The only thing I don't like about displaying dishware or glassware in the open is that if you only use it now and then, you have to wash it all before you use it to actually eat off of. But if you don't have a china cabinet, this is a very pretty and aesthetic way to display items and add interest to a dining room wall without spending extra money on other display items. Use what you have and save money too.
Oh I LOVE the color!! You said it’s Swiss coffee? Do you mind me asking what brand it is? And where did you get your shelves that you’re styling?? Sorry for all the questions. But your house is just so calming, beautiful and cozy!! Thank you for your videos! Have a blessed and beautiful day! ~Gina💜
Hello Gina! Here is a blog post on the shelves, I hope this helps! www.pineandprospecthome.com/easy-affordable-corbel-shelves/ The paint is just from the local hardware store, but the color is originally a Benjamin Moore color.
Love love love!! I was so torn between Swiss coffee and Alabaster for my white. I ultimately went with alabaster, but I love how Swiss coffee looks on your walls!!💜💜
Andrea, I have never done this before, but I watch a young Christian woman on RUclips who hasn’t had her channel long, she has purchased an old farmhouse and she and her husband are redoing it. She just posted today that her and her husband are expecting their first child. If any of your viewers would like to go check her out that would be great. She also has a blog which she has done longer. Her channel is Diana Marie Home. Any gardeners will love her home made green house and her new garden! Hope you all enjoy her! Hope it was ok to share this, I love supporting young women.
Ciao, sending love from Italy, love shelves, decorations looks complete to me😍 we'v old 200 years grand grandparent's house so we use a lot of vintage decor¬ easy to put them together on shelves i enjoyed watching ciao😘
I am not sure if I will record it or not, but I am using a process similar to this I just don't plan to got this light: www.pineandprospecthome.com/diy-rustic-raw-wood-finish-process/
Thank you! Where did you get your round mirror? And can you direct me to a place to refinish some wood furniture! I love the almost bare look that a lot of your stuff has. We are building and we have a BIG pocket door that we are going to turn on its side and create a headboard, it’s pine and I’d love to get it to look like your wood things. 💕💕💕
Thank you for the great tips! I have been looking for a light to go over my dining room table and I absolutely love yours! Not sure how I never noticed it before. Would you mind sharing where you purchased it from? Thanks!
I love your makeup! So beautiful. Please tell me what lip product you are using here. It's so pretty! Did you update your makeup from the last video you made? Thanks!
I know how you feel i’ve been getting the urge as well..but Take care of your safe ..:) specially that you’re pregnant .you should take everything step-by-step the first months are always crucial :) thank you for the tips ..blessings
Hi Andrea, I love the pfaltzgraff and have been wanting to start a collection. I did watch your other video so I know what to look for. Is Etsy or eBay the best place to find it? I’ve gone to a few antique shops and no one had. Thanks 💖
Your shelves are lovely but I find this kind of decorating calls for "less is more.". When your space is too crowded the pieces get lost in the mass. Try to remove a few pieces and I think you will like the effect.
The shelves look great! The whites and clear glass with the blue keep it airy and uncluttered looking. The paint color also is a great choice! You have a knack, girl! Thanks for sharing! REST please!

You have collected so many beautiful pieces xxx
Your shelves are beautifully decorated, Sweetie pie ~ loved being with you!
Loved seeing your adorable littles, too💕😉
These tips were fantastic, thank you. Hope you are doing well ♥️
Beautiful! I love the white and the wood!🤍
Calming simplicity that draws one in. It says "welcome, pull up a chair".
Since adding the brighter colour above, your wainscotting looks like a beautiful duck egg blue. Maybe it's the effect of the camera but I'm loving it. 💙 Thank you for the lovely tips
You are so right balancing is key and color palette to. Thank you Andrea... looks very lovely!!
Andrea, thanks for sharing these tips. I adore the aesthetic of your home. *GOALS*

I absolutely love the new color. It is so soothing. I think the wainscoting should be painted in the same color but a gloss.
Like you, it takes me a long time to decorate my shelves. I’ll think I’m done, walk out of the room, walk back in and then I’ll move items around, again! I always try to incorporate greenery, too.

You did a great job w/your shelves, and the color is great also.
Love the paint color!
Pretty!!!
Oh, I used Swiss Coffee on the lower half of my powder room a year ago!
Very nice 👍🏽
Hi Andrea!
Just lovely! I struggle in this area. Thank you so much!
Your videos are a Blessing!
Love your tips and what you do.
Love your new paint and your shelf designing !
Lovely as usual.
I LOVE using thrift items to decorate my shelves! You seriously save SO much by spray painting or repurposing as opposed to buying everything new!! ❤️
Yes, so true!

Such great tips, thank you for sharing! 💙
Thanks for sharing your video 🙂👌
Hi! I am a new subscriber, but I just wanted to say you did a beautiful job! Thank you for sharing with us!
For a cohesive look paint the ceiling in 'Swiss Coffee' rather than flat white.
I’d love to see a tutorial on how your lightening the dresser.

Either of those options, thrifts stores as well! It isn't always easy to find, but just keep an eye out!
❤❤❤
I have found that if you take a picture of your shelf or your room.. you find things that don’t fit. It works amazingly well.
Ever think of putting some of your copper on those shelves.
Your shelves
are lovely but I find this kind of decorating calls for "less is more.". When your space is too crowded the pieces get lost in the mass. Try to remove a few pieces and I think you will like the effect.
We each have our own styles, which is what makes us unique! I personally love to display things this way, but I am sure your decor is lovely as well!
💝
what color stain did you use on your shelves?
Here is a blog post I wrote on them, I hope this helps! www.pineandprospecthome.com/easy-affordable-corbel-shelves/
Someone is nesting ..
I really love your shelves, but they really look too crowded.
With your shelves so busy, your mirror is too small. Go bigger on the mirror, so it's as tall as your shelf items are.
