    Hi Dan
    Really enjoyed your video mate and could feel your pain on the loss of that fish. Really great that you tried so many methods and areas to nick those elusive bites. I am out there at the beginning of October with a few mates. I am tempted to fish solid bags to try and get the odd bite or two. I've fished it before at this time and it does not do a lot of fish....well to me anyway. Have you ever back leaded when fishing Teillatts? Its a great place and always a chance of that monster.....every bite gets the heart pumping... Thanks for posting, Cheers, Kevin

      Hi Kevin, it was a tough week that’s for sure. I think solid bags are a great shout while you are establishing a feeding area, and depending on the water temp might be the winning method at that time of year. I would probably not back lead though, the floor is littered with rocks and zebra muscles in the edges, I think back leading could increase the chance of a severed line.

    As a general what's the lake like? Is it well kept as in no litter etc

    • @fordgoesfishing
      @fordgoesfishing  5 месяцев назад

      It’s in very good order. Swims are well kept, the toilets are decent enough and lake fed and at decent intervals around the lake. The lake is very much drive and survive though and the amenities are bare bones. It is clean though.

      I will caveat that though by saying it was 2022 I visited and it’s had a change of bailiff since then although I believe the standard is still good.

    Fucking hell lol somehow this video has rolled over from a previous fishing video and it’s you again. Leave France alone fella, I don’t think your ready yet. A noddy fishing a non noddy lake.
    Check out bounty lakes in France you should get on well there!
    Tight lines - hopefully see some success soon.

      I mean 35 years angling experience, treasurer of an angling club is hardly being a noddy. Teillatts was moderately successful for my first time ever in France (given I walked away with both top rod and hot rod trophies). Napoleon was very successful. Gigantica was a bit of a mare. Will check out Bounty lakes though, always good to find new venues but got 3 new ones lined up in the next 18 months France wise.

      Admittedly though, I can understand the Noddy shout. These videos aren’t showing my angling in the best light. I will improve on this.
