I see hope. When I stop consuming negative media. When I start teaching RUclips which content I don’t like to see, allowing what really interests me to surface. When I stop focussing on problems. When I start focussing on solutions. There’s so much power in mindset. When I expose myself to material, ideas, concepts, organisations, channels, news that go into the direction I want to see more of in the world, I start to believe we actually have a chance to change our current course. From destruction to creation. From ill-making to healing. From monoculture to diversity. I see artists, scientists, engineers, developers, coders, designers, writers, politicians, builders, thinkers, workers, students, consumers, service givers of so many kinds, comedians, CEOs, leaders, moms and dads, friends and family, ordinary people, enjoying themselves, enjoying what they do, giving their best at what the do, while enjoying life, actually loving their life, loving their body, themselves, their environment, their peers, their planet. I see this more and more in recent months. When I see this, I see hope.

*I’m Michael and I love creating music. I play, compose and record mostly calm and peaceful tunes and share these here on the relaxdaily RUclips channel since 2011.
Music can be much more than just pure entertainment. It can be a meaningful soundtrack that accompanies us through a moment, through a day, a phase, or through life.
Many use my recordings and piano music sessions as background music while reading, doing mind work, to achieve better focus, while studying, while being creative, while coding or designing a product, a service or the world of tomorrow. From your comments I know that my music also works as relaxing music (also stress relief, depression or anxiety dissolving music), spa or yoga music, or to set a calm tone at cafes, bars, lounges, in hotels and restaurants, mostly at a low volume.
This project is not as much about a genre as it is about a feeling. A way of life. With my tunes, I try to take a little heat and speed of our generally quite busy lives. A soundtrack for you, when you feel the need for a calm and peaceful, light and positive tune, the relaxdaily way.

I would play your music to my mom while she was in the hospital really sick in Feb after a stroke and it made her feel normal while in a chaotic place. This made me go back into the memory of sitting next to my Mother while she played at our piano so beautifully in the house I grew up in. Warm, loved, a joy for life. Feeling a profound safety and feeling the glory of the expanding universe. Then going with her into the kitchen to set the table and get ready to sit down to dinner together as a family. Thank you.
