This is exactly what I needed to hear this early morning. I too have been praying for a breakthrough for my son Nikolas who is using meth and believing the lies of the enemy. I pray that the stronghold of the drug be broken...the paranoia and confusion be replaced with clarity...that the veil be lifted and the full armor be place on him. I pray and plead the blood of Christ to wash over Nik cleansing him of all unrighteousness...Father protect him from the dominion of darkness...shine Your light into Nik’s life and expose the darkness that has a grip on him. I pray these things and anything else that comes to mind in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and amen.

I read and used your book, How to Pray for Lost Loved Ones, several years ago in our Bible study group. We were so encouraged and empowered to pray for our families and friends. We saw changes happen, relationships restored. I was reminded today of the power of these truths.

Street preachers tend to turn people away from Jesus while those who quietly & patiently do His will by feeding, clothing, housing, caring for the sick, visiting those in prison, welcoming the stranger, providing for the orphan & widow, etc. bring many. 😊

Thank you God for putting this into my feed today. This morning I hade a dream avout someone from my past that just never got saved. She has heard the gospel and I shared so much with her. But in the dream she had Buddha statues and had dressed her house in stone and cement. When I again told her that she only could be saved through Jesus Christ she started to argue and wasn't open. But God reveled that her boyfriend is open, and I should pray over him. So that he gets saved. So thank you, I will pray and rebuke those stongholds in their minds. God bless

I have been 🙏 for about 8 years for a woman ( in a Eastern European country) who was abused. She too asked me if God loves me so much and has a good plan for me, then why did He allowed me to have such a bad childhood? One night laying in bed I thought why am I 🙏 for her, nothing is happening. The next day I was talking to the woman and she said ( I believe it was the demon in her) " stop 🙏 for me because everytime you do something happens ❗" Well that was an encouragement from Holy Spirit not to quit. I have recently begun praying for the salvation of a man in our church who is not saved. I know that only a divine revelation in his heart can change Him so that He understands and is willing to give His life to Jesus. He hears so many words and has come to so many meetings but he does not respond to the invitation. He is intelligent and so it is all in his head. I wonder why he comes. And In the beginning I was opposed to him being there since I felt that he was a disruption to us who believes, but now I am open to the idea that God ends him to our little church in hope someone there will pray for his salvation. When the word of God is taught he listens and I notice his facial expression as to see how he responds. Once as the leader of the meting rejoiced over the fact that we are saved and belong to Jesus, he covered his face in his hands. Last time, though, as the word again was about being born again, he looked ahead as if hopeful. I want him to be saved because if he's not, he will suffer when he dies. He is a nice person and he helps in the kitchen with bread and things after the meeting. But he is not born again. Only God can change his heart his inner man in such a way that he will give his life to Jesus. Through a dream perhaps, or something else. If he dies without having been born again after having heard so much, he will suffer forever and I don't want that. Because that's what happened to my father. Praying for an unsaved person who frequents the church(es) and has done so for many years, may for some seem useless, but for God anything is possible, and the motivation for praying is love. You don't want that person to die without Christ. If anyone had asked if the Saul could be saved, persecuting the Christians, many may have said, "no, not him. His head is too big, and his heart's animosity to great for God to ever being able to save Him," Yet, Jesus struck him down and saved him. Maybe we just need to dare believe the miracle can happen, and then pursue it on our knees in faith. The love of God compels us anyway. Who is a loved one? A loved one is that person for whom God has put his love in your heart.

Oh my!!! My husband walked away from God 3 1/2 years into our marriage with a 3 year old son. My husband led me to Christ in February of 1977 with -40° temperatures and snow that was about 3 to 4 feet deep, then he accepted Christ. My husband had grown up in an Assemblies of God church since he was 5 years old. But maybe 1 1/2 years into our marriage with a young baby that church split for the 2nd time, maybe within 7 to 10 years before I came into the picture. After that split, we wanted to go to the same faith and Bible believing church as we had left, and the only one in the area was a church whose pastor and wife split our church the 1rst time. I had asked my husband if we could try going there before I knew that they were the ones who split our church for the first time. That's when he told me, and being extremely naive, I asked if we could just try it and see if he'd be alright with it. He agreed to it, and we ended up staying there for 3 years until one Sunday after service was over, I was standing a few aisles up from where my husband was standing talking to the pastors wife, I looked over at him several times as I was talking to someone else, but the last time I looked at him his face was as white as snow, his eyes were like silver dollars, and his mouth had dropped way down. I just stood there looking at him and the pastors is about 4'9", and my husband was 6' 4" tall, so it looked like he was halfway bent over her and she never gave my husband a split second to speak. Yes, my husband used to drink a lot almost every night after work when I first met him and he also did drugs, Marijuana is the only thing that I know of but he did other things too. But she was treating him like trash from the way he acted. In those 3 years that we were going to that church, my husband never once told that he didn't want to go there anymore. My husband stopped doing all those things, and some of them were very difficult, and I am proud of him for fighting Satan to try to make him fall, but he didn't until that conversation. He has never told me what was said and sometimes denies the conversation. The next Sunday Morning as I was getting me an out son ready for church, he just sat in his chair and declared he wasn't going to church, and he has never been back into a church since that day but has put me and our son through hell. I left church for a few years but went back because I couldn't be without the Lord in my life. You see, I am a survivor of child sexual abuse to an extreme that would take forever to explain because I don't remember it all, and I am 64 years old. My husband never wanted to even hear about the fears that I had 7not really knowing why. I floundered so much that I have been in a mental hospital 4 separate times with not much to help me, and definitely not my husband. I have tried almost all of what you mentioned, and still nothing has happened. Last year was absolutely awful with him almost dying from a ruptured anerisum in his aorta, and one nurse at our local hospital said that it exploded, and his abdomen was filling up quickly with blood, they couldn't lifeflight him because it was grounded for low lying fog and that meant we had to go by ambulance on a very dark rainy night with road construction. There were times we were going so slow, with traffic flying by us, the only thing that I could do was give him to God, and that's what I did. I told the Lord that through everything I have been through and almost dying myself, none of that phased him, and his heart just kept getting harder and harder. We had a 45 minute drive, during daylight hours without construction, so I said he is yours dear Lord because I can't help him, I don't have the ability to do so but Father you do. You know exactly what he needs, the right surgeon, technicians, nurses and any and everyone who has anything to do with his care. I gave the Lord all control and told him that if he makes it but has problems, then I accept that, if he makes it out but is paralyzed, then ok, I will accept that, and if he doesn't make it, then ok, I will accept that but I just only want your will to be done in his life. Then I kept praying in the spirit while trying to get ahold of my pastor, his wife, any and all elders, and there was no one who heard my call or text. So, I kept trying to get a hold of our son and daughter-in-law. They finally called me back and said that our son would be there as soon as he could and this was like 1:15am. When we got to OSU Ross Heart Hospital and they pulled my husband out of the ambulance, there must have been at least 5 people come running out of the hospital, expecting him to be dead but he was sitting up, not all the way but he was sitting up and talking to everyone that was around him and as they were pushing him in the bed they couldn't believe that he was having a coherent sentence and understanding everything that the hospitals staff was saying and replied coherently. They were stunned. They then didn't think that he would make it through anesthesia because he has never had a surgery in his life. He is 69 years old and never been in the hospital, only with me. The surgery team were so surprised that my husband didn't have any medical history to go by and that's why they didn't think that he would come through. And with so much blood in his abdomen they weren't sure if he wouldn't have brain damage from lack of oxygen and blood to the brain. He made it through the surgery with no difficulty of any kind, he woke up in recovery and didn't have any problems. He was talking to them and answering their questions, like what is the year, how old are you, where do you live. And, again they were stunned. He was only in the hospital for 6 days when he was released to go home. If I may please, let me say that everytime a staff member including the surgeon all would say, he's a lucky man, he's a lucky guy, do you know how lucky he is and I would say yes, I do know how lucky he is because I gave him to God and he had all control. My husband will not admit that he was saved by uncountable miracles of God and still is just as bitter. I am grateful for the LORD for all he has done in my husband's life and in mine, and I am lost at how to pray for him anymore, but I still do. If your resources aren't too expensive, then I might be able to get a few because my husband keeps an eye on my spending, which is only fair to a point, and that's another whole different story. 🙃 😇🙏🙌♥️🦋🌹 Thank you for allowing me to take up so much of your time. And I pray that someone will be able to give me some advice on how to pray for my husband to return to God and for the salvation of our son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and grandson. This is exactly what I needed to hear this early morning. I too have been praying for a breakthrough for my son Nikolas who is using meth and believing the lies of the enemy. I pray that the stronghold of the drug be broken...the paranoia and confusion be replaced with clarity...that the veil be lifted and the full armor be place on him. I pray and plead the blood of Christ to wash over Nik cleansing him of all unrighteousness...Father protect him from the dominion of darkness...shine Your light into Nik’s life and expose the darkness that has a grip on him. Thank you God for putting this into my feed today. This morning I hade a dream avout someone from my past that just never got saved. She has heard the gospel and I shared so much with her. But in the dream she had Buddha statues and had dressed her house in stone and cement. When I again told her that she only could be saved through Jesus Christ she started to argue and wasn't open. But God reveled that her boyfriend is open, and I should pray over him. So that he gets saved. So thank you, I will pray and rebuke those stongholds in their minds. God bless

She too asked me if God loves me so much and has a good plan for me, then why did He allowed me to have such a bad childhood? One night laying in bed I thought why am I 🙏 for her, nothing is happening. The next day I was talking to the woman and she said ( I believe it was the demon in her) " stop 🙏 for me because everytime you do something happens ❗" Well that was an encouragement from Holy Spirit not to quit. I have recently begun praying for the salvation of a man in our church who is not saved. I know that only a divine revelation in his heart can change Him so that He understands and is willing to give His life to Jesus. He hears so many words and has come to so many meetings but he does not respond to the invitation. He is intelligent and so it is all in his head. I wonder why he comes. And In the beginning I was opposed to him being there since I felt that he was a disruption to us who believes, but now I am open to the idea that God ends him to our little church in hope someone there will pray for his salvation. When the word of God is taught he listens and I notice his facial expression as to see how he responds. Once as the leader of the meting rejoiced over the fact that we are saved and belong to Jesus, he covered his face in his hands. Last time, though, as the word again was about being born again, he looked ahead as if hopeful. I want him to be saved because if he's not, he will suffer when he dies. He is a nice person and he helps in the kitchen with bread and things after the meeting. But he is not born again. Only God can change his heart his inner man in such a way that he will give his life to Jesus. Through a dream perhaps, or something else. If he dies without having been born again after having heard so much, he will suffer forever and I don't want that. Because that's what happened to my father. Praying for an unsaved person who frequents the church(es) and has done so for many years, may for some seem useless, but for God anything is possible, and the motivation for praying is love. You don't want that person to die without Christ. If anyone had asked if the Saul could be saved, persecuting the Christians, many may have said, "no, not him. His head is too big, and his heart's animosity to great for God to ever being able to save Him," Yet, Jesus struck him down and saved him. Maybe we just need to dare believe the miracle can happen, and then pursue it on our knees in faith. The love of God compels us anyway. Who is a loved one? A loved one is that person for whom God has put his love in your heart.

My husband walked away from God 3 1/2 years into our marriage with a 3 year old son.
My husband led me to Christ in February of 1977 with -40° temperatures and snow that was about 3 to 4 feet deep, then he accepted Christ. My husband had grown up in an Assemblies of God church since he was 5 years old. But maybe 1 1/2 years into our marriage with a young baby that church split for the 2nd time, maybe within 7 to 10 years before I came into the picture. After that split, we wanted to go to the same faith and Bible believing church as we had left, and the only one in the area was a church whose pastor and wife split our church the 1rst time. I had asked my husband if we could try going there before I knew that they were the ones who split our church for the first time. That's when he told me, and being extremely naive, I asked if we could just try it and see if he'd be alright with it. He agreed to it, and we ended up staying there for 3 years until one Sunday after service was over, I was standing a few aisles up from where my husband was standing talking to the pastors wife, I looked over at him several times as I was talking to someone else, but the last time I looked at him his face was as white as snow, his eyes were like silver dollars, and his mouth had dropped way down. I just stood there looking at him and the pastors is about 4'9", and my husband was 6' 4" tall, so it looked like he was halfway bent over her and she never gave my husband a split second to speak.
Yes, my husband used to drink a lot almost every night after work when I first met him and he also did drugs, Marijuana is the only thing that I know of but he did other things too. But she was treating him like trash from the way he acted. In those 3 years that we were going to that church, my husband never once told that he didn't want to go there anymore. My husband stopped doing all those things, and some of them were very difficult, and I am proud of him for fighting Satan to try to make him fall, but he didn't until that conversation. He has never told me what was said and sometimes denies the conversation. The next Sunday Morning as I was getting me an out son ready for church, he just sat in his chair and declared he wasn't going to church, and he has never been back into a church since that day but has put me and our son through hell. I left church for a few years but went back because I couldn't be without the Lord in my life. You see, I am a survivor of child sexual abuse to an extreme that would take forever to explain because I don't remember it all, and I am 64 years old. My husband never wanted to even hear about the fears that I had 7not really knowing why. I floundered so much that I have been in a mental hospital 4 separate times with not much to help me, and definitely not my husband.
I have tried almost all of what you mentioned, and still nothing has happened. Last year was absolutely awful with him almost dying from a ruptured anerisum in his aorta, and one nurse at our local hospital said that it exploded, and his abdomen was filling up quickly with blood, they couldn't lifeflight him because it was grounded for low lying fog and that meant we had to go by ambulance on a very dark rainy night with road construction. There were times we were going so slow, with traffic flying by us, the only thing that I could do was give him to God, and that's what I did. I told the Lord that through everything I have been through and almost dying myself, none of that phased him, and his heart just kept getting harder and harder. We had a 45 minute drive, during daylight hours without construction, so I said he is yours dear Lord because I can't help him, I don't have the ability to do so but Father you do. You know exactly what he needs, the right surgeon, technicians, nurses and any and everyone who has anything to do with his care. I gave the Lord all control and told him that if he makes it but has problems, then I accept that, if he makes it out but is paralyzed, then ok, I will accept that, and if he doesn't make it, then ok, I will accept that but I just only want your will to be done in his life. Then I kept praying in the spirit while trying to get ahold of my pastor, his wife, any and all elders, and there was no one who heard my call or text. So, I kept trying to get a hold of our son and daughter-in-law. They finally called me back and said that our son would be there as soon as he could and this was like 1:15am. When we got to OSU Ross Heart Hospital and they pulled my husband out of the ambulance, there must have been at least 5 people come running out of the hospital, expecting him to be dead but he was sitting up, not all the way but he was sitting up and talking to everyone that was around him and as they were pushing him in the bed they couldn't believe that he was having a coherent sentence and understanding everything that the hospitals staff was saying and replied coherently. They were stunned. They then didn't think that he would make it through anesthesia because he has never had a surgery in his life. He is 69 years old and never been in the hospital, only with me. The surgery team were so surprised that my husband didn't have any medical history to go by and that's why they didn't think that he would come through. And with so much blood in his abdomen they weren't sure if he wouldn't have brain damage from lack of oxygen and blood to the brain. He made it through the surgery with no difficulty of any kind, he woke up in recovery and didn't have any problems. He was talking to them and answering their questions, like what is the year, how old are you, where do you live. And, again they were stunned. He was only in the hospital for 6 days when he was released to go home. If I may please, let me say that everytime a staff member including the surgeon all would say, he's a lucky man, he's a lucky guy, do you know how lucky he is and I would say yes, I do know how lucky he is because I gave him to God and he had all control. My husband will not admit that he was saved by uncountable miracles of God and still is just as bitter. I am grateful for the LORD for all he has done in my husband's life and in mine, and I am lost at how to pray for him anymore, but I still do. If your resources aren't too expensive, then I might be able to get a few because my husband keeps an eye on my spending, which is only fair to a point, and that's another whole different story. 🙃 😇🙏🙌♥️🦋🌹

And I pray that someone will be able to give me some advice on how to pray for my husband to return to God and for the salvation of our son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and grandson. Thank you for these guidelines to pray for my son who stopped communicating with us 8 years ago. Please pray for Daniel to reconcile with us. He was saved at 8 and when he was 10 he adamantly sought to be baptized again because he understood what it all meant so much better. He turned from God when he was 14 and now he’s estranged himself from us.

Dear Dutch. This post has been phenomenal for me. I keep watching, then praying the prayers. I have written down the prayer which Mary Smith prayed for her lost brother, who totally repented. I am praying it and declare "the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy". Revelation 19 v 10. I believe it. Thank you SO much.
