But again, the rivalry between Kageyama and Oikawa is very understandable, but Hinata is just volleyball enthusiast with two or three skills.
If you are a manga reader you will be shocked in hinata's current form and you are wrong on hinata being a volleyball enthusiast.. He loves it, he wanna become the little giant. The difference in hinata and kageyama is kageyama has already the talent needed and like you said prodigious one, while hinata started everything from scratch but when they faced off wayback from the start kageyama acknowledges hinata is strong but he doesnt developed it in the past 3 yrs of middle school as they have no mens division for volleyball club so he is just learning everything on his own
Why wouldn’t it make sense? They’re friends who believe in each other’s potential and ability. Hinata improves and constantly strives to become better. Kageyama acknowledges that he grows as a player and therefore challenges Hinata to keep up with him, while Trying to keep improving as well. Also Hinata is not just a volleyball enthusiast. He is volleyball player who deeply loves the sport and works hard to be the best despite his height handicap and the people who looks down on him. Also, he was key player to a lot of their matches. His current growth is proof of his hard work and potential. So yeah, it does make sense.
