Io adoro questa la sua versione di Laura Branigan di questa canzone rispetto a quella in italiano Il mare più grande che c'e anche se è bella pure e molto ascoltata live da Fiordaliso stessa .. Qualunque cosa cantava lei aveva subito stampo internazionale tipo Gloria Self Control era forte nel cantare solo che dovevano diffonderla questa canzone in radio festival vari rilasciare il disco chissa i premi che avrebbe vinto con questa canzone . Grintosa dentro . Oggi non trovo più chi canta come lei. Voce energica sul versante pop e rock leggero Era unica. Addirittura secondo me era capace di cantare da cantante lirica tipo contralto o mezzosoprano . Aveva in gola qualcosa di diverso da altre
Oh my goodness. Never heard this before and can't believe it wasnt recorded in the studio. Love how Laura's distinctive voice covers every note. Really like the song a lot. She was simply outstanding and is greatly missed.
Her vital performances grant me a lot of strength and faith, that I will overcome all adversities that the world, society and my surroundings gives me... Thank you Laura, I believe YOU ARE our ANGEL!!!!

THIS SONG SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED ON ONE OF HER ALBUMS, THIS SONG SHOULD HAVE PUSHED LAURA TO NEW HEIGHTS IN HER CAREER, I WISH LAURA HAD RECORDED A FEW MORE ALBUMS AFTER OVER MY HEART IN 93
So brilliantly performed. She was very underrated in Italy, they only thought of her as "the lady who sang Tozzi's Gloria in English". Fans know she was much more than that. She was a real artist.
I agree. Sadly she missed an original song at the top of the charts. Gloria, Ti amo, Solitaire and Self control were all covers. Let’s also remember she sang famous hits as How am I supposed... and I found someone for the first time, but arrangements weren’t excellent and Michael Bolton and Cher reached greater success with their versions because production work was more accurate and aided by good videoclips. She was underrated and unlucky. Voice of Laura was magnificent and would have deserved a richer repertoire.
Voce con timbrica molto personale e grande potenza. Qui non al massimo della sua intonazione ma secondo me è una versione preparata all’ultimo momento. Arrangiamento orchestrale pessimo.Molto meglio la versione di Fiordaliso
